The Empire restaurant had a rough night during a busy graduation party, running out of pasta and Caesar salad due to unpreparedness for the large group of 16+ people. Despite this, the service was great, with a waitress even going out of her way to return a forgotten phone. The atmosphere was enjoyable, although some found the asparagus tough. On a positive note, the new vegan menu comes highly recommended, with a great new chef. However, some feel the restaurant is highly overrated, with thin, flavorless burgers and inflated prices, despite the decent fries.
