Great Mother's Day brunch. Wonderful historic building and location. Must visit if/when in Tiffin, Ohio.

They served us ice cold rice! Never in my life had I had that happen before in a restaurant! The fish was very bland, but I enjoyed the yeast rolls. I was disappointed overall. The atmosphere was nice.

Loved the atmosphere and the server was attentive. Food was good, but I tried liver and onions for the first time and won't eat liver again. Lol. Good sized portion, decent salad bar, great veggies on the side. Cheesecake was good with raspberry sauce. Would like to go back and try again with pasta or steak.

I was hoping to have a nice, enjoyable dinner here with a dear cousin. The atmosphere of the old mill was decent, we were set at a corner table by the windows. We ordered an appetizer. A special menu insert, focaccia bread with three dips bread appetizer that was quite good.
My cousin ordered the mahi mahi dinner and I ordered the swordfish. The waitress didn't ask how we wanted it cooked, and we didn't think to ask, but should have.... Her mahi came out quite rare, which was perfect for her. My swordfish was completely overcooked. Dry, tough, stringy, ruined.
I took one bite and after chewing and chewing and chewing....thought I'd never get it down. My baked potato was not much better....browned on the inside. No fluff to it at all, just dense, brown potato which was hard to even mash up with the butter and sour cream. It was not hot, so by the time I had it prepared, it was cold. This was at approximately 5:00 on a Sunday. They open at 1:00... I'm thinking it almost had to be held over from the day before. Unacceptable.
The waitress did not bother to come back to our table to check on us until my friend was finished with her dinner and I had eaten my awful potato and the few pieces of broccoli on my plate. The waitress finally came back and saw that I had not eaten my fish, so she offered to bring me the menu so I could pick something else. By then I wasn't going to order another dinner, so I asked to take a trip to the salad bar instead. We each ordered the chocolate cake for dessert, which comes with ice cream. She brought mine out while I was at the salad bar, so I barely ate a small plate of salad and my soup went to waste because I didn't want my ice cream to melt before I got to it. 🥴 I feel like the waitress should have known better than to bring mine right away, but again, I guess I should have told her, maybe she just doesn't have critical thinking skills.
Spoiler alert. If you decide to patronize this restaurant and you get the 10 layer chocolate cake, know that it is enough cake for 4 people... Possibly 6. I didn't see it on the menu, so I don't know if they advertise that fact. I think it was around $15. It tasted fine. Moist and chocolatey. Nothing spectacular, just some sort of tall, layered, sweet restaurant supply cake.
The cost of my swordfish dinner was removed from the bill and I was charged for the salad bar, which I barely touched.
I typically have a pretty strong gut, but I'm writing this the next afternoon and I still feel pretty crappy from that meal.
Just not good quality food and not a good experience.

Waited 45 minutes after we had a reservation. Hostess inefficient! Waited another hour yo get our food

I've had multiple large events/gatherings at the Mill and they never disappoint. From private parties (buffet style serving) to individual meals from the general menu for parties over 15, we've always had amazing food. This past weekend they accommodated our massive group on the fly despite having 3 or 4 large parties already booked around the same time. The staff is amazing and the food is perfect every time. Our family appreciates everything you do and they always look forward to our next get together at the Mill. ❤️

Atmosphere is great, service was great, food was just a little underwhelming.

Great service from Ricky, downstairs in the Tinkers Dam. Well-timed presentation of apps & entries.

Wow does this place stink for how much they think they can charge. Chicken tasted unfresh. The hostess ruined the entire experience from the moment we walked in the door. The wait staff was pleasant. Pasta was overcooked the point where there was tiny cubes of fettuccine on the plate. Left both my wife and myself feeling kind of 🤢 nauseous. Avoid this place. Nice view of a small river/creek?

We ate at Pioneer Mill the Saturday before Christmas. Food was excellent. My prime rib was cooked as ordered (medium rare) and it was so big, I got two meals out of it. My wife had the Thai chicken and it was also good. My daughter had lobster Neptune and it was excellent. If I could rate half stars I would rate the food at 4.5 because the salad bar seemed like it had more on it when we came here in June than this time. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and quiet.
