Grounds For Pleasure Coffee

Ahh, Grounds For Pleasure! One of the few places you will wait 20 minutes for an Americano. Espresso and water… yes very tricky ? (and no not busy, there was only 2 people in line, and no door dash was being picked up)

A cozy atmosphere, a few baked goods and an excellent Dirty Chai(Chai tea with espresso).

I am frequently at Grounds for my coffee and sandwich. In the past 2 months or so, I have noticed a decline in the overall status. Staff is overworked as there are fewer people working than usual, making wait times very long, no fault of theirs, there is just too much to do. Also, there are hardly ever baked goods available, it seems they run out just a few days into the week! I love grounds, but they need to bring back the old culture

Had a pour-over coffee from Deeper Roots (Guatemalan) and was very pleased with the expertise of the barista. Also had a breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese panini, which was tasty. Very friendly and helpful crew, and location is very quaint with good parking.

My husband & I frequent this place often & usually we have a great experience. Unfortunately, today was not one of those days. When my placed our orders, he asked for a s’mores frappe. Even though it’s no longer on the menu they still make it for us. The young lady made two hot coffees & added whipped cream on top. He told her it didn’t look like what we usually get. She quickly said oh the whipped cream is on top. Since the place was busy he just left. Very unhappy with the service. I called up there after he returned home to see if there was a mix up. I told the lady we wanted frappes, she said the flavors of s’mores is in there. I then told her they’re hot not blended. She told me I could place another order but not replace what we already bought. Owners please talk to your staff about customer service. More encounters like this & it will start to hurt business. I apologize that this is my first review but I didn’t know how else to give this attention.

Nice little place. Coffee was good. Had a nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating in the back. Friendly staff.A good place for a small meeting.

I went in and ordered a latte, the store only had one other customer. I waited for approximately 10 minutes and still no latte, I walked back to the counter where the employee was on their cell phone. When I asked the status she looked at me confused, so I explained that I ordered a latte. Evidently the other employee forgot about my order. Communication is important in any workplace!!

Grounds is a pleasant place to have a good morning cup of coffee. The house and specialty coffee are best around. Staff are friendly and courteous.

This is our go to at least once a week but have noticed the drinks do not taste the same as they used to. Each kid working does not make the recipes the same. Also do not like the new attitudes.Think we will start going elsewhere as autmoshpere is not as friendly.
