Love breakfast at sam and Ethel's. Good pancakes. Love the skillet breakfast. Eggs, homefries, gravy yum. 😋 friendly service. Good coffee.

Great comfort food. Usually good service. However, today, our waitress was very stressed, cutting us off & complaining about customers & pretty much everything the entire time - it made for a not relaxing brunch. I literally felt myself breathe better every time she left the room. It was just a very bizarre experience.

It was great! We went on a Friday morning and there wasn’t a ton of people but still quite a few.

Great diner stop! A must visit in Tipp. The food was delicious and was as expected for diner fare.

So unbelievably rude... We left after being there 5 minutes. The waitress was kind enough to take our drink order then made us feel bad for getting water or another drink with a coffee.. making a comment regarding the table being small and let’s see if we can even fit all this stuff on your table. So disappointed and honestly felt shamed before we even ordered food. Her tone/personality was horrible. Please see the reviews below seems to be a trend…… unacceptable.

Called and made reservations for a group of 20. Had a time limit. Seated us together in a back room. Not only was the service wonderful, the food was delicious, and we were out before our time limit! Pleasing 20 adults on a bus tour isn’t an easy job, but this little gem of a place did it!
Thanks, Sam and Ethel’s !!

We loved our time here. The food is incredible. Everything we had was delicious. Breakfast and lunch served all day. Service was great and the atmosphere was small and cute! We loved it and would definitely go back.

Small town eats with big feels. If your local they probably know your name and order when you enter their door. If not, they make sure to make it a personable experience.

First time there, and it was everything you would want from a small hometown diner. Great atmosphere, really good food, and wonderful service. They really are very friendly and make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Located downtown, just a few minutes away from the interstate. There's absolutely no reason to go to Bob Evans or any chain restaurant when you can go here! Heartily recommend!

We stopped in for breakfast here this morning. It was a nice small town, local place. The staff was friendly and the food was good.
