I was at the Anchor Inn on 8/6/23 with some friends. I rolled for Yahtzee and ordered a tap water. The owner Charlie tells the bartender to charge me for a soda which was $2.00. Not a big deal a little frustrated but I paid then Charlie said well you should of got a bottle of water it would of only been $1.50 and laughed knowingly I still only received tap water. At that point I got up and left without one sip of my water. I have spent several hundreds over the past few months at the Anchor but as I have a bad liver I am trying not to drink as much. I am a business owner and I have seen people get charged or not get charged for soda or tap water but then to laugh about it made me write this!

Very racist establishment and should not be in business because everybody's money is green I will never patronize this place anytime you request a certain liquor and they Recommend another liquor because of your race and say in your face my black friends drink that ? is clearly a prime example of Racism... melodi is the best bartender, despite the racism

Cash only, African American don't seem to be accepted as well in the daytime, but at night anything goes. Typical dive bar, bouncer's sleeping with bartender's. Fight every now and then, you know typical Point Place dive..
