Had a birthday dinner and it just disappointed. The server was not very good at greeting, attending to our table, and did no table touches. The food, meh. My cheeseburger was raw, at least they took it off my bill. No visit from the manager, no correction, guest service, nothing. Not eating good in the neighborhood tonight.

Updated. The manager reached out and made it right, which I truly appreciate. Our 2nd visit, the server was attentive but not very friendly. I think their service is truly holding them back because the food, again, was fantastic. Original visit: Our waitress was drunk at 3pm on a Thursday! We came in and it started off good. She was really nice but after we ordered she forgot EVERYTHING and took forever to get anything. She was wearing a green Michigan state jersey and seemed so sweet at first but couldn't even remember the ranch and took forever to get everything. When we were ready to go She saw the credit card in my husbands hand but handed us the check and walked away. We didn't see her again for 10 more minutes then my hubs asked another server if he could pay. The other server got an attitude about it and then I had to leave because my son was crying but my hubs was in there for another 5 mins just trying to pay the check! This place has gone WAAAAAY downhill. Food tastes great but expecting a tip when you're acting like that is a definite no for me

The hostess was really nice and helped us out. Our waiter on the other hand was awful. She never came and checked on us once never grabbed us a new drink never told us there was gonna be a wait or anything. We just paid for our drinks and left. It was ridiculous. Waited like 45 minutes for nothing And again, the waiter did not check in on us once honestly One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m sure Other waiters are great, but ours was not. She was also the bartender so maybe she was busy but she still could’ve checked in on us at least once or twice or refilled our drinks but nothing. And I don’t know if it’s cause me and my friend are young or what but just felt unwelcome by her.

just as a preface- our server and the bartender (the only 2 lovely ladies working) Were fantastic in doing what they could, given the situations they were put in. That being said…..my experience was still awful. we were there for 3 hours…. from being seated, to ordering, to cashing out… it took 3 HOURS. It took over a half hour to be seated, an hour for our food to be brought to us and JUST as long to get cashed out even though it was fairly slow and empty in the restaurant. After we were finally seated the atmosphere turned very very sour. The Floor manager was a VERY RUDE MAN. and i mean EXTREMELY rude. Not to just his OWN TEAM (the ONLY server and the ONLY bartender that were there) but to CUSTOMERS as well, He caused a scene with a man that had a wrong order, and literally SNATCHED this man’s receipt out of his hands aggressively and was yelling at him…. we also overheard said customer state that the manager had previously hung up on him while he was trying to problem solve his order PRIOR to him coming in to speak with the manager personally. He was absolutely no help to his workers when they needed him. I understand everyone has bad days, i understand that there are some situations that are overwhelming but as a team LEADER and floor manager you should know how to handle these situations, and not take your frustrations out on the team of people there to help. When management suffers, the workers suffer and the business suffers, and it was an awful night FOR EVERYONE. The workers looked visibly stressed and distraught by him. Our server looked like she wanted to cry…. He should not be managing anyone with his attitude. Dear DM, GM, Owner, or ANYONE above this man… please for the sake of your business find better management. (Date and time of incident (10/5/25 @7:00 PM- 9:45PM) )

Came here with a small group to celebrate my birthday , after saying it would be a 15 minute wait we ended up waiting 30-40 minutes before being sat and they were telling other people it will only be a 15 minute wait too . The manager working that night , 10/05/2025 at around 8 pm , was very very hostile and disrespectful to a customer coming in to get his order fixed and also his employees who were trying their best . Yelling and being disrespectful to your employees infront of customers is a big NO . The customers inside of the restaurant were looking around at each other to make sure we all heard him correctly, it was AWFUL . It took over an hour between getting our order taken and our food coming to the table.
This is the worst Applebee's ever that hostess Amelia is terrible and the manager is no better I can't wait until they close down

We stood at the door for 8 minutes and then when finally sat down we sat for 15 minutes without even a water she kept telling us that she would be right with us and that the kitchen was behind and short staffed whit that being said there was 2 servers and a bartender so 3 servers an a total of 10 ppl in the whole restaurant and the server we had aka the bartender had the most biggest nasty looking hickey on her neck told my kids she fell and hurt herself smh never coming back
