Advertised as a Valentines 3 course meal. We prepaid $150. Sat down and ordered took 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. Which were ok. Then 30 minutes for the entree. No one asked if we ever needed anything or asked what we wanted for dessert until 30 minutes later we proceeded to wait 2 hours for dessert while everyone around us who got seated hours after us received their dessert. Took forever to get the bill for the overpriced drinks. And they never came to take our card, 3HOURS IN we were over it so we left cash and left. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Service was stretched so thin it was a horrible experience that was marketed as a romantic luxury dinner. Multiple couples around us were also experiencing this to the point where they had to walk out of the restaurant. They were so sick and tired of waiting around.

Service was terrible. There may have been 10 people in the restraunt not including our party of four. Service was terribly slow. The burger was absolutely terrible. There was zero seasoning. All, four of us ordered burgers. Not one came out how we ordered it. All were well done crunchy charcoal. Zero flavor. The fries looked great. They had zero flavor. Our appetizer plates had dried food on them. Drinks literally took 30 minutes to receive. We will never be back.

I usually don’t write reviews unless I’m 100% satisfied and my experience at this restaurant was a 10/10 experience and it’s all because of Shanelle’s attentiveness to my requests. I am a pescatarian and dairy-free and she made sure to not only accommodate my needs but went the extra mile and QC my order before it came out. Because of her service and the quality of food (which was always 10/10 - and trust.. this is VERY hard to get from me), I came back three nights in a row while I stay in Toledo for work. Every time I come back to visit, I’ll stop by just to say hello to Shanelle and get a salmon plate w/ Brussels & fingerling potatoes.

My wife and I chose to eat here, instead of a high end restaurant we heard about. The service was great. There was about 7 other people dining in the establishment. I paid $42.00 for THEE WORST steak I’ve EVER had at a restaurant. The presentation was on point. The fish my wife ordered was very good. She tried two pieces of this $42 steak, and literally spit it in a napkin it was so chewy and gross, as I did with most of mine. I’ll pay a high dollar price for a great meal, I would have paid double, but for this, I would have been better off at McDonald’s

All I can say is get the sourdough bread and Mac n Cheese. It’s legit the best I’ve ever had!!! I got the chopped salad the first night (?) and bit too much dressing, but I did not care bc of the bread and Mac n cheese ? ?

I ordered the kale salad and it had no kale - it was romaine which is ok but not on menu. Also it had a grossly heavy amount of dressing. We sat at bar and server/bartender was good but didn’t care that I did not get what was on the menu. Also, there was a server with a scruffy beard and shoulder length hair that was just hanging and not tied back. I would’ve been grossed out if he had serve me. The menu is uninspiring and generally not vegetarian, friendly except for salad and heavy cheese, dishes, mac & cheese, and grilled cheese.
Vegetarian options: The only vegetarian options are salad, mac and cheese, grilled cheese and one sandwich. We generally don’t eat much cheese so Mac and cheese and grilled cheese are not something we really want to eat/pay for as a dining item. The menu is generally uninspiring.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The beet reuben and big fat greek salad are phenomenal. The menu is creative and delivers on flavor.

Wow! Such a great gem in downtown Toledo! I was extremely hungry after driving into town for a conference and decided to eat at the Assembly American Brasserie. I was not disappoint after getting the pork belly club sandwich with Parmesan fries. The club was HUGE and absolutely delicious and the fries were perfect crisp and flavorful. I fully recommend checking this place out for an amazing lunch or dinner!

I visited during a work trip. Atmosphere is great and the one server who was the only one in was very nice. Admittedly I was there early afternoon ish. The pork was nice but was served relatively cold. The burger was good. A rather sophisticated take on a Big Mac with an In and Out vibe. I wish I would have tried their chicken which is what they are famous for. Not amazing, but it was an OK experience.

We popped in around 945 after calling to make sure the kitchen was still open (till 11). We ordered the pork belly appetizer, 24hr brined chicken, and short rib pasta. Food was amazing, hot and fresh made. Ashley's service was great, even having no expectations popping in so late. Would reccomend and will be back. Getting to the resturaunt requires entering through the hotel.

Nobody at hostess area when we entered. We seated ourselves at the bar & it took over 15 minutes to get service. No servers were in sight. There were only two other people in the restaurant. Once we began being served, the experience was much better. Bartender/server was attentive and kind. Drinks and food were prepared quickly and tasted delicious! We would definitely come back if the initial service upon entering the restaurant was improved upon!
