0 stars. The bartender is just disrespectful for no reason. I rarely leave reviews but when I first got here there was no music so I asked the bartender Derek if they had a playlist or something and he said something along the lines of “no bars play music for free and that I shouldn’t expect that”. Granted, they do have a juke box where you can pay for music. But I told him that I’m not from here and I’ve never been to a bar that requires customers to pay for there to be music in the bar, so I thought it was bizarre. He got weirdly offended and I explained to him that I wasn’t trying to argue and that I was just saying. And he responded with “well what do you want me to do about it? You’re young, you don’t know anything. Just finish your drink and leave.” And then a while later I went up to ask for a water but before I said anything he walked up to me and said that he’s not serving me anymore. First time I’ve had such a hostile experience just by making an observation. He had an attitude from the moment we walked up to the bar. Super weird…

First time I visited Barbie’s was last night after a wedding reception. And as soon as I walked in the man attending the bar told me he was not going to serve me so I kindly walked out. I was asked by a few people on the patio why was I leaving and I let them know that he won’t serve me. One of the guys went in and bought drinks then gave me one of his drinks.

Great place to have drinks and fun with friends. Has a home town vibe like Cheers. The breakfast sandwich is really good especially when you add lettuce tomatoes and mayo
