0 stars. The bartender is just disrespectful for no reason. I rarely leave reviews but when I first got here there was no music so I asked the bartender Derek if they had a playlist or something and he said something along the lines of āno bars play music for free and that I shouldnāt expect thatā. Granted, they do have a juke box where you can pay for music. But I told him that Iām not from here and Iāve never been to a bar that requires customers to pay for there to be music in the bar, so I thought it was bizarre. He got weirdly offended and I explained to him that I wasnāt trying to argue and that I was just saying. And he responded with āwell what do you want me to do about it? Youāre young, you donāt know anything. Just finish your drink and leave.ā And then a while later I went up to ask for a water but before I said anything he walked up to me and said that heās not serving me anymore. First time Iāve had such a hostile experience just by making an observation. He had an attitude from the moment we walked up to the bar. Super weirdā¦

First time I visited Barbieās was last night after a wedding reception. And as soon as I walked in the man attending the bar told me he was not going to serve me so I kindly walked out. I was asked by a few people on the patio why was I leaving and I let them know that he wonāt serve me. One of the guys went in and bought drinks then gave me one of his drinks.
