Barry Bagels Downtown Toledo

My wife and I were staying at the Renaissance by Marriott Toledo for an event at the Huntington Center and the next morning, we walked down to this place for breakfast. My wife got the cinnamon swirl bagel with cream cheese and I got the Farmer's Eggel. Both bagels were made fresh and they were very good and very filling! We were there around 8am on a Friday morning and we were the only ones there. If you're staying at a nearby hotel, I would recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!

Apparently 2 bagels with cream cheese and a large drink, $9.69, is not enough to get a single pickle with your order. It was explained to me that unlike the father, the son is cheap. Barry would be heartbroken to find out that the pickles he was so proud of were being withheld.

I was serviced by a very kind, handsome young black man named Marue who is patient and thorough. He has a great sense of humor and convinced me to buy a cookie when I wasn't thinking about one....and it was the biggest and best cookie I ever had! He even heated it up for which made it chewy, gooey, and delicious ?

This restaurant is always clean, and everyone has a great personality.
The bagel sandwiches are the best I've had in a long time.

This is the best experience I’ve had at Barry’s usually the food is like warm or soggy and today the two women handled a line and being out of multiple things so calmly and politely and the food was perfect. Well done!!

This was not my order but it was given to the nice doordash driver to deliver. He went back and got the correct order for me, but this is wildly inappropriate to put on a receipt. I felt bad for the driver (who didn't even notice it) and the person who would have received it. A simple phone call to explain the request wasn't doable, is better than being an a-hole to someone you don't even know.

Unlike all the other Barry’s they charge you for pickle with your bagel. Booo They claim there not Barry’s bagel. The sign says Barry’s bagels lmao No lox either

I came here to eat lunch today. After feeling like i bothered them by coming in, and sitting down with my food, all I could hear is an employee banging the broom and dustpan around in an angry manner so loud, it was jarring, for five minutes. When the banging stopped all I could hear is complaining workers standing at the cash register. I won't ever be back. Obviously, people eating lunch should be able to enjoy their meal
