We had a reservation for 3 on easter day. When we arrived we has to wait to be seated because a waiter was chatting with a friend he hadnt seen in awhile and they were blocking the entrance. Even though he clearly saw my grandmother with her walker.. Grandma had been here before and knew she wanted stuffed mushroom caps so we ordered 2 orders of them. Very disappointing. They were simply chunks of mushroom with cheese and a few pieces of lobster on top. There was a large party next to us. I overheard part of their order. (After we ordered) The party ordered things that werent even offered on the menu and our waitress didnt mention it, such as chicken cordon bleu, lobster tails, ham steak. Our food was ok at best. Not alot of flavor. Service was a bit slow but it was a holiday. I doubt we will go back. Not worth the $140.

Few of us girls decided to go to this restaurant before the Golden Girls show at a Stranahan there was eight of us we made reservations we got in right away we ordered our food the waitress was awesome she was very nice very polite felt bad for her because it was busy by the time we got our food it was all cold not impressed for the price of the food that we ordered it was a disappointment the waitress did come back and give us $5 off our meals which was nice but the food was not impressive

This was my first visit to the Black Pearl, and I only live two minutes driving distance from the restaurant! We were greeted immediately upon entering. While waiting, I took a peek at the nice little bar area. We ordered no appetizers. I ordered the petite cut prime rib while my friend ordered the queen cut. They were both cooked to a perfect medium rare and were delicious. There were three dessert choices (which all sounded appetizing), but because I ate my entire cut of prime rib and baked potato and salad and bread…. desert will have to wait until the next time.

I have been here twice. Great experiences both times. Great prices, delicious food and great staff. Both times the place was empty. Sad because it’s so worth it. 100% recommend. If you haven’t tried it, you absolutely should!
