1st time visit, n gotta say that I never realized how good a steak could be that came directly off the grill (the stone), I'm shocked at the Delicious difference it made. You gotta try it and cook it yourself!

Kayla is a horrible manager. I just ordered a double special last Saturday for my son and myself no problem no issues now today she only wants to honor 1 per table. I really should’ve just walked out. Definitely will think twice about coming to Black Rock in the future especially since it is a half hour drive away. I would’ve gone to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn Steak house. Pretty disappointed. I guess that’s why they aren’t very busy at this location and every other steak house is packed.

Each time I’m going to Black rock I like to sit at the bar the bar of Beth❤️ is amazing when she makes my favorite smoky old-fashioned. No other restaurant knows how to get it like Beth❤️ does at Black rock then the waiters all the other girls and guys continue to check on you to making sure that you are being intended to and taken care of and the chefs the way they are and grill salmon is incredible. Everything they make even just a salad is impeccable. Black rock is on my list of favorites. I get to go in there get on my laptop and charge it at the same time while charging my phone because they have USB plugs underneath the bar and I get to make my online bets while watching the flatscreen TVs over the bar looking at all the sports I recommend in Black rock

The quality of black rock has gone down tremendously. From the service to food and everything in between. Unfortunately, we decided to give this place a try and left very disappointed. The pretzels came out soaked in butter, cheese was cold, didn’t have pasta on a slow Monday night, my tenders came out burnt and Mac and cheese was dried as if it was sitting back there for hours. The server wasn’t that attentive and was very animated without having knowledge of the menu, or offering drinks or desserts. I didn’t eat my meal and there was no concern why. Seems like this will be the next restraunt leaving the area.

We did miss seeing the sweet potato fries on the menu. Loved the mini version of the brownie volcano dessert.

I used to love going to this restaurant, I would always order the Ahi Tuna on the volcano rock. We decided to go out for dinner last night…and chose this restaurant. We showed up around 6pm, we were quickly seated. Our waitress was AMAZING! One of the other waitresses came over and chatted for a little while about our kids and her kids, she was wonderful too. Upon review of the ‘new’ menu….there was no fish…other than one salmon option. I don’t eat steak very often, and it seemed that was the only food option for the volcano rock. They mainly have options now that can be found at other local restaurants for less money. The highlight of the meal was the spinach and artichoke dip and my glass of Merlot.
We were informed that the company cut $1000.00 of food from the menus. Their menus changed from a nice colorful/professional folding menu to a single cheap two sided menu that looks like it was made on a copy machine (no pictures). BORING! We were told that they became a corporation now, so they can save money. There goes another wonderful restaurant down the toilet. My husband and I resorted to ordering the mahi tacos with a salad and French fries. If I wanted a meal like that, I would have gone somewhere WAY cheaper. At this point, we should have just left the restaurant, but we were soooo hungry.
Needless to say, we will find another restaurant, this one will probably be closed in the next year anyway. Seems to be a common theme with restaurants at the mall. Greatly disappointed by the changes that occurred…this is probably the main reason why the restaurant seems very empty lately.

Was a great place to go, finally made it there during their birthday month, food was delicious looked great. Waitress was friendly. Atmosphere: we went at lunch time and there was only 3 other tables occupied so volume and busyness wasn't a problem. I'm disabled and had to walk about ½ way through to get to a regular table that wasn't up on a step up. Place was clean, food was good. Would go back and try again.

This place has gone so downhill! One they got rid of the Brussel spruts, and 2 the waitresses in the afternoon are awful! There's a young lady there with her long nails, and hair, man what's her name, I can't think of it, but she's always on her phone and when we go in no one is there but she takes her time getting EVRYONE seated . Send another waitress will come over to help us and it is Bonita that's her name Banita but she gets mad at the other waitresses for coming and helping us because we have been sitting there for a while and still didn't get our drinks even though we had ordered them like a half an hour and sometimes when we come in there it is like a time schedule but yes Banita is the worst waitress there is. Is place was good though when it first opened it's just gone way downhill

Tried to eat at this place with my family.
Waited to be seated for about 2 minutes which it was not bad, but then we got seated away from everyone and nobody ever came to take our order. Ended up leaving after 15-20 minutes of waiting for someone to take our order.
I do not recommend this specific location.
