Slow to average amount of people however drink we incredibly slow. I would have had another but they were taking anywhere from 10 to 20 mins. Food took 35 mins. They forgot to add my side even though it's on the menu that it comes with it. One guests pork chop was so under done it looked raw through 65% of it. I've been two Brim house twice and it's been a bad experience both times. Food is great but if your going to spend $125 to $150 for two people there's alot better experiences available in Toledo.
Small brunch menu, but decent choices. Portions were large. Our server was friendly and attentive.
Ambiance was great, sleek and modern design. Beautiful view of the river. My husband's drink was fantastic. Slow night since it was so cold, so we got through dinner super quick. Food was just fine. Menu looked great, food just missed the mark a little for the price. The manager stopped by and we told him my husband's food was cold, but still taste wise was good. Manager took half off his plate and told us to never hesitate to ask for new food. Love that kind of service. Coulda just been an off night. Would try again.
Absolutely outstanding food. I have travelled all over the USA and this is easily a top 5 spot. Must try.

New Year’s Eve started with a bit of confusion regarding my reservation, but after speaking with David, the Food & Beverage Manager, everything was handled extremely well. He was very helpful, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed promptly. His team was excellent, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful New Year’s Eve

We've had breakfast and brunch at Brim House while staying at the Renaissance Hotel. The food and service were fantastic. The hostess and all the servers were so friendly and inviting. I loved their eggs Benedict which is my usual go to at breakfast time.
During our stay this past weekend we had brunch. I opted to try their chicken and waffles. I'm glad I did, the apple butter was amazing and paired well with the chicken. It added some heat to the sweet maple syrup making it a perfect combo of delicious. My wife had the all American breakfast which she thought was hearty, and very filling. We will definitely be back, and hopefully will have time to try dinner service. I highly recommend the Brim house even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

Great experience in downtown Toledo. Thea and Tim were excellent as hosts and David stepped in to help with a minor issue that was resolved rapidly and professionally. Excellent food and lively atmosphere with lounge music on a Thursday evening. Good way to end a business trip. Will stay here anytime I travel to Toledo. Top notch service.

Parking was a nightmare. A couple items of our meal were forgotten, overall overpriced for quality/portions but was fresh tasting which was good. Felt rushed out by staff despite being in our reservation window and it being empty. Also wish there were alcohol options but I'm sure that's a licensing issue? Not awful but we won't be back, would only recommend if you're staying in the hotel.
The croissants were perfectly buttery and flaky, and the sausages and bacon were full of flavor. But what really made our visit special was the incredible service from Carrie and the entire team. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. When they found out it was our anniversary, they sent over mimosas on the house — such a thoughtful surprise!
The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great views of the river and a peaceful park next door. It’s such a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend time. Everything — from the food to the atmosphere to the service — was just spot on. Highly recommended.

Don’t be fooled by their hours on their own website. Showed up at 6:45 PM, waited almost 10 minutes for a host to even show up and one never did. Went to the front desk who said they should be open and I said well the bar just told me they’re not making food anymore, which they responded they take orders til 7:30 PM. Spoiler alert, that’s false. Another worker said that it’s “entirely possible” that they are not serving anymore…an hour plus before close. Don’t waste your time, literally.

The first round of coffee was cold; Omelettes were over cooked, but served cold; the sourdough toast was not toasted, then served burnt. Eventually, properly toasted bread was served, but it wasn't sourdough. By that time we had finished our omelettes.
I liked the cheesy potatoes as mine were served hot.
If you're staying in the hotel and it's convenient, it's fine.

Visited on a Sunday morning — it wasn’t busy at all, and we were seated in a really nice private room with a TV, which seemed promising. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly.
We asked if we could watch the Browns vs. Vikings game, and they couldn't promise it would be turned on. It never was. Our food came out before we had silverware, which was odd. Steaks were not cooked as ordered, and omelets were missing ingredients.
Also — no drink menu for brunch? That’s a big missed opportunity. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place trying to run a successful brunch service.
When we brought our concerns to the manager, his response was disappointing. He joked that we should’ve brought our own silverware and claimed the room we were seated in “wasn’t supposed to be in use.” So why put us there, especially when there was clearly space elsewhere?
It felt like there was no accountability or empathy. We left frustrated and unimpressed.
We ended up going to Toledo Spirits afterwards and had a great time. Focaccia’s is another spot we’ve had consistently good experiences with. I wouldn’t return here — too many better brunch options where they actually care about your experience.

Overall, this was not a great experience. Here for a birthday gathering and the service was slow, orders were not accurate, food was cold or overcooked, and the manager was less than accommodating and could not even pretend that he cared. I REALLY recommend that you select another establishment for brunch.

The food was over cooked from the burgers to the eggs. The poached eggs were like hard boiled eggs and the burgers were ordered at medium but came very well done and burned in one side. The staff were very pleasant
