We eat at Caper’s every 2-3 months (either dine in or carryout). This visit we were underwhelmed. Hubs had the lasagna (his typical dinner). Probably left half of it, said it didn’t taste as good as previously. I had cheese ravioli, filling and marinara had good flavor but crimped edges of ravioli were dry and hard. Made me think it had been par cooked (which a lot of restaurants do) and then microwaved at serving time.
Our waitress was nice but slow. We weren’t offered Parmesan with our dinners and had to ask for refills on our pop. It got to the point that a waitress working the other side of the dining room was clearing our dishes and asking if we needed anything thing. She flat out asked if our waitress was taking care of us.
As I said we’re fairly regular customers but it will be a while before we go back.

Lord have mercy! What an awkward dinner! The service was the worst. The waitress appeared intoxicated , coughed at our table NONSTOP, spit on my daughter while talking, asked who was on what bill no joke like 20 times AFTER she had written it down. Service was SOOOO slow and the food was mediocre at beat. If you order the bread and oil, they bring you a plastic cup with garlic and ths waitress says... let me go get the oil.🤣. You have to make it yourself ! We will not be back!

This is a great corner bar with good pasta. The pizza is good and so are the meatballs and appetizer. I would recommend this if you are in the maumee area.

Caper's has a huge menue and everything on it is delicious. And I have tried all of them. Pizza, salad, sandwiches, and much more.

Everything tastes canned, frozen and bagged. It is so I'm right. Now, the place is far from up to date. I can't get behind a place that can't even pay their employees right. I hear the owner steals tips from his servers too. The servers, bartenders and cooks are great but management is the worst aside from Angel. I got kicked out because they wanted to close early after having no business on a Tuesday but I was the bad guy? Lol

My $20 pesto pizza with extra cheese without the extra cheese was pretty lame.. I assume you have knives in the kitchen might be a good idea to dice up your, my sun-dried tomatoes kind of hard to eat a 2" long dried tomato boys. No value here Nor Love.. And I'm still hungry for a pizza

We had a Celebration of Life for my brother Jeff Fyock on Saturday July 27th. Everyone was so impressed with the event & how the girls we had kept me informed all evening.
Growing up in South Toledo alot of our guests said that your pizza tasted like the old Gino's on Arlington Ave.
This is my 3rd event that I've had @ Capers.
Please give your staff a high five for helping my family make memories.
