Chips were cold. Service wasn't good. Sure has change from the good days with hot food.

The staff was excellent. I really didn't get a chance to try any of the food but I will go back to try the food. But the drinks were awesome. But most of all the staff was just great and I appreciate great service with a smile. It's hard times and not-so-good times so that great down-to-earth service is so needed. I really only had salsa and chips and they were fresh and warm so that was good also

Love most of the food and Margaritas. No social distancing during Covid. Way over capacity of where they should be. Get it to go. I recommend the cajun crab enchiladas, fish taco's, funky dip and Super Nacho's.

The margaritas & wait staff are stellar. Nice patio for outside gathering. Beef and bean burrito with beef gravy topping is excellent.

This restaurant was open and pretty busy tonight. We went to bar initially and had drinks and appetizers, the chorizo dip was very solid. Put our name in for patio, somehow we got taken off wait list and it was over an hour before we finally got seated. The burralada I had was interesting and tasty, their creation which you don't see often. The patio is ok , but lots of smokers so kind of spoils things, maybe don't allow smoking there??

Carmel’s has been my mom’s favorite Mexican restaurant for decades. She has always looked forward to a weekly margarita break of which COVID has sadly prevented. Carmel’s owner generously worked with us, going out of his way to personally deliver a meal and margaritas on her birthday. What an amazing dedication to a loyal customer! I would highly recommend Carmel’s to anyone looking for great service, kind people, and delicious margaritas!

Very poor wait times for service. I've been here 40 minutes and no one has been to my table. New owner hasn't solved old problems.
Been coming here since I was a kid (I’m 40 now). In town for my Mom’s birthday, stopped in to get my Mom and I Beef Bean and Cheese Burraladas and Funky Beans like we used to have years and years ago. Still as good as we remembered.Was nervous, so many places have gone downhill over the years but thankfully this is not one of those places.Thanks!

My first time there. Ran away from Michigan to get a drink or 3!! Miranda was our bartender, she was cool! Got take out, food was good. Great atmosphere!
