Do not go to this place. I thought I'd give hood chicken one more try but to my dismay. The place is a dump. The chicken has to be the smallest size chicken I've ever eaten. It was severely overcooked and salty. Once again, hood chicken, you are a disappointment. If you read this and still go, don't say I didn't warn you.

I just had them for the first time and it was incredible! Even the mashed potatoes were good, which, in my opinion, can't be said about ordinary takeout. This chicken tastes just like the kind I used to get at a place that closed called, "Woody's Just Chicken." I remember trying to order one day after work only to find that they closed permanently and I was really sad. Anyways, whether or not these are the same people, the food here is incredible. Small friendly place I just so happened to notice after driving by more than a dozen times since I moved in the area. I ordered the 3 piece perch dinner that was cooked and presented differently than any I had ordered in my lifetime. Very delicious!

Chicken is amazing, don’t even need sauce the breading has so much flavor, the breading doesn’t slide off the chicken either like a lot of places. Owner was super friendly as well, do yourself a favor and skip the other chicken places, go here instead.

Do NOT sleep on this spot!! As a cook myself I’m blown away how good the food is! I thought I was just getting late night munchies but while the food cooked I had a great conversation with the owner, not to mention I reluctantly stopped eating to write this review because of how good it is. I got the perch meal and it is ten times better than you can expect! You owe it to yourself and your taste buds to try them out!
