This place was great, I wish I could visit it again, rice was great, the atmosphere was not great, completely empty. The place was not very well advertised, but the whole place got torn down recently.

I drove past this restaurant several times , and I had never tried Peruvian food before, so I was curious to try it. I tried Tacu Tacu and it was very good, very similar to Dominican food, but different. The top sirloin beef tips melt in your mouth. My favorite is the Tallarin de Saltido. It's pasta with beef tips, onions, cilantro, and tomato, cooked in soy sauce and red wine vinegar. Exellente! The owner is very nice and helpful. When he offers you "the spicy", if you like spicy foods give it a try. It's not your usual salsa.I'm saddened, because I have been telling people about this place since I found it, and I haven't been able to convince very many people to try it. Those that I have convinced to try Chosica, have wanted to come back. My coworker and I tried to go back and the signage was taken down. A sign posted on the front door said that they were closed training kitchen staff for an expanded menu...But why did they take the sign down?I hope Chosica reopens. I still tell people that it's a great restaurant. It's way better than Taco Bell, and it's cheaper than Taco Bell.
Excellent food! Second to none. Fantastic customer service. Definitely we will come back.
Keep going back!! Just so delicious.

We were favorably impressed with our first visit to this Peruvian spot. Located in a small building with one or two other businesses close to the University of Toledo, we were surprised by how spacious it was. It had a nice laid-back vibe. The fact that it was not terribly busy when we visited added to relaxed feeling of dining there. There were several things on the menu that we had never experienced. My wife tried the Chicha, which is a drink made from purple corn with lemon, apple and pineapple overtones. Sugar is added making it a little heavy. She was happy enough with it.For an appetizer, we had the Papa Rellena, which was quite good. It had a light crispy surface and was filled with ground beef, onions and eggs with salsa and mayo available to complete the flavoring. It made a very nice starter. For her main, my wife had the Tacu Tacu, the base for which was marinated sirloin. It was stir fried with red onions, tomatoes and cilantro in a soy-based sauce. It's served with plantains and topped with a fried egg, all over white rice. It was quite tasty and she had enough leftover to take home for another meal. For my main, I tried the Tallarin Saltado with Beef. It was composed of sirloin stirred with red onions, tomatoes and cilantro in a soy and red wine vinegar sauce. It was served over sautéed pasta. I was very happy with my choice and likewise had enough to take home for another meal. The service was more than adequate overall as the proprietor took care of us. The value was quite good as the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Our total bill was just over $25 per person with food, beverage tax and tip. We'll look forward to another chance to try this pleasant establishment.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are no problem.
Parking: Small but adequate parking lot in small plaza.

A small cozy restaurant that offers delicious and different-than-usual food choices. The staff is very friendly and they even had live music when I visited.Reasonable price for the food too.

Amazing food! If you like Asian and Hispanic cuisine, you’ll love this place. Everyone should be eating here.
I had this place on my list for a long time but the reviews made me think every time. Finally I visited the place. It’s a cool location with cute lamas at the entrance. Very close to UT main campus with enough parking space. The problem with the place is it’s relatively high price compared to the service and portion of food. The taste is good and I know the chef knows what they are doing but it’s nowhere next to a high quality restaurant, service wise.A very below normal service you get with a high expectations on the menu price. The portion is barely enough just to play with!Although the service was so poor, the tips started at 18%!!!!I know it’s a norm to tip but you tip for a service you get. If I want to percent it, it would be somewhere near 5% service!!!The design of the food was good though.I think the owner should seriously think about this issue and I wish them luck!Taste: 7/10Portion: 5/10Service: 3/10Price: 3/10
Awesome authentic Peruvian restaurant with some delicious food! My wife and I had the Papa Rellana, some pisco sours, and the sirloin with noodles (can’t remember the traditional name). The staff was extremely friendly and we had wonderful and quick service on a low-key Friday night. It’s awesome to have some Peruvian cuisine locally. Definitely recommend!

I've tried to go to this place two times before and during the pandemic and it was closed. I finally scored them open today and I honestly think I wouldn't try again. It was weird to me that the parking lot was full but there were four tables empty. Staff doesn't welcome you (Peruvians are much more heart friendly) We were a party of two adults and two hungry kids. We sat ourselves at 6:05 and we finally ate almost an hour later! At some point we were told our order was going to be "right away" but in fact, there was 30 min. more of waiting.Food felt homemade but on the salty side. I missed that kick from aji amarillo. We order a lomo asado, tallarines en salsa verde with steak and rice with chicken.I love to support my Hispanic but I also want to support those who provide responsible and respectful treatment to their own community.

Great authentic food, service, and atmosphere! The owner was greatly helpful in explaining the food and flavors and our kids loved the noodles and steak flavors! Got a great holiday gift card on way out so we can return again soon.
