I was very disappointed to see the food server go back and forth between the cash register, handling cash , and wrapping sandwiches with the same gloves. I said something and she changed her gloves nonchalantly as if I was in the wrong. Food was ok. Hopefully their back of house is more hygienic.

My wife and I just got married and had City BBQ cater. They did an awesome job. Honestly, what set them apart was their willingness to allow us to schedule an appt, come in, and talk through all the options for what they offer and what they recommend. I don’t know if company’s stopped doing that after COVID, but City BBQ was the only company that willingly did that and made the decisions so easy for us. After all, we’ve never catered for such a large group before.
Also, their presentation was super nice too, not just the standard catering dishes. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking for wedding catering.

Had an amazingly fresh salad with delicious smoked chicken. It was very big and really good! I don’t usually get excited about salads, but this was so good! All fresh ingredients and no bag salad crap!

Okay, so I’ve been craving good BBQ since we arrived in Toledo. So far, I’ve been disappointed or downright disgusted. That changed tonight. We were thrilled with this place. Andrew, who took care of us, was beyond helpful, even offering my companion a taste of one of their side dishes. (Big point right there.) He assured us that the brisket was top notch. He was right. The food was flavorful and the portions were great. The brisket Sammy was off the hook. Tender, melted in your mouth, extremely flavorful. The pulled pork nachos were astonishing, and unexpected. Corn bread was some of the best we’ve ever had! I waddled out to the car, which was the opposite of my last BBQ session. This place is now one of our go-to’s for dinner!

We had city bbq catered for our wedding and the food was incredible. The caterers were so friendly, on time, professional. The initial communication was not great as our emails kept getting sent to their spam for some reason but we worked around it and everything went smooth from there. We got the pulled pork, brisket, green beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding and each and every item was so delicious. The potato salad however is out of this world good and we were lucky enough to have leftovers to take home!

Highly recommend their catering service for your wedding day! There’s a lot to choose from to make your day perfect for you. My entire experience was great, even our complimentary tasting! All of our food was so good and we had so many compliments! It was a goal to make sure I served a good meal to my guests and City BBQ understood the assignment!!
