The room was clean, but the toilets are kid size, which is wierd since kids can't rent rooms .My next complaint is the pool was absolutely freezing. It was like an ice bath. I couldn't handle it. Lastly, why do we have to pay for anything at breakfast? We already paid over 100 dollars just to sleep in a room. The prices are crazy expensive for the breakfast food too.
Rooms: Clean,spacious.
Nearby activities: Everything was 15 minutes away
Safety: Hardly anyone there
Food and drinks: Expensive

My room was great, staff was great, and couldn’t ask for a better location (lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance). Only 4 stars because you had to pay for breakfast and the breakfast I got was pretty subpar. Would still recommend (First Watch in the shopping center next door does an amazing breakfast).
Rooms: Room was awesome!
Walkability: LOTS of restaurants and shops nearby
Food and drinks: Bar downstairs
Noteworthy details: VERY busy area. Hard to get in and out

I booked with this hotel last minute because I was coming in town for a funeral. The hotel seemed to be in a good area. My flight arrived late the first night so I didn’t have a chance to thoroughly inspect the room, but the external cleanliness appeared to be sufficient. The funeral was early the next morning, so I only had time to wake up get ready and go. When I arrived back to the hotel that night something told me to inspect the room. I started with the sleeper sofa, the first thing I saw when I raised the cushion was large stains on the backside of the cushion. I then unfolded the mattress and found 3 very alive bugs , that appeared to be maggots. I don’t know what they were, but what I do know is that they did not belong on a mattress in a hotel room that I had purchased and was currently sleeping in.
I contacted the front desk to report the issue. I was immediately told to hold on for several minutes, someone finally came back to the phone. They stated that they would come up soon to take a look at the bugs. They finally arrived 20 minutes later after I called back down to find out what was taking so long. We had time to shake out and pack up all of our belongings during this time. I informed the gentleman that I was tired, I’m grieving, and that I wanted to shower and go to sleep in another room. I was then told, that they were sold out and it would take a while to figure the issue out. At this point it was already midnight, I had to wait another 30-45 minutes for a room reservation to be arranged at the Hilton property that was basically on the same parking lot. I was also told by the Marriott employee that I would receive the Hilton room for the same rate that I was receiving at their property. Needless to say, when I arrived that was a completely different story. The Hilton rep informed me that she informed the Marriott employee during booking, that Hilton wouldn’t be able to discount their room to that rate.
Thank God my mom and I was finally able to go into a clean room and get a peaceful night of rest. I typically stay at a Marriott property a majority of the time when I’m out of town, but this was the worst experience ever. I tried calling back a few times after my checkout because I was told that I wouldn’t be billed for the one night of stay, but I most definitely was charged. I requested to speak with a manager and left messages for a call back. I still haven’t spoken with anyone as of yet and this was 8/17/2024, so there has been plenty of opportunity for someone to reach out. Apparently, my message was received because my credit card was finally credited back the amount charged. There was never an apology issued. One of the employees had the worst attitude in regards to me calling in asking for a manager. She informed me at 0900 that the manager wasn’t in yet, but she would have them to call me. I never received a call, so at 3:30pm I called back and she stated that the manager was now gone.

Beautiful hotel. I traveled alone for business. I felt safe throughout my stay. My room was clean as well as the rest of the hotel. The fitness center was well-appointed with working equipment and a variety of machines and weights.
I will stay here again if given the opportunity.

Fantastic hotel experience! The staff seemed maybe a little confused by our presence, I guess because we don't look like their "usual" guests but we had fun! The rooms were immaculate, fancy, large, and comfortable.
The shower was massive, the bed was big and comfy, the room came with a makeup mirror and lots of storage.
We only stayed one night before continuing our trip but it was probably the best one so far.
Our only issue was how far we had to travel to find a bar open later.
Rooms: Spacious, fancy, clean and overall fantastic.
Walkability: Not much, we had to Uber to a bar open a little later. But there are places nearby if you check in earlier than we did.

Changed to one star because housekeeping entered the room when they were explicitly told not to and left the door propped open. I had some personal electronics sitting out, pretty obvious they saw it and left the door propped so a second person could come steal everything. I'm lucky I got back to my room before they cleaned me out.
Pretty dingy for a Courtyard. I have a 2 week stay and requested they clean the room on Saturday, all they did was take out the trash. They linens were stained, the couch looked like it had bloodstains on it and reeked of BO, and the bathroom floor was weirdly slippery like it had a fine film on it. The shower has a half wall instead of a door so the bathroom floods when you take a shower, not a great design choice. There was also a vent in the ceiling letting hot, humid air in so I had to crank the ac up to combat it.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Toledo West, a property that, on the surface, boasts modern renovations and excellent amenities. The updated rooms, comfortable furnishings, and overall ambiance provide a pleasant experience for guests. However, my stay was marred by an ongoing billing dispute that has left me deeply frustrated and disillusioned.
As a former general manager with six years of experience in the Marriott hospitality industry, I am well-acquainted with the ins and outs of hotel operations. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the response from this hotel when addressing a billing issue has been nothing short of abysmal.
Since July 13th, I have been trying to resolve a billing discrepancy. Despite numerous calls—often 2 to 3 times daily—and multiple emails, I have yet to speak with a manager or receive a satisfactory resolution. Each time I call, I'm met with excuses: managers are in meetings, managers are out for the day, or they are on vacation. It’s clear these are tactics to delay and avoid dealing with the issue.
The lack of genuine customer care in handling this situation has been incredibly disappointing. It feels as though my family and I are being treated with a level of disregard that is not just unacceptable but reminiscent of historical injustices. The repeated lack of follow-up and the avoidance of accountability reflect poorly on the hotel's management and operations. The treatment we've received feels as though it parallels the disregard faced in far worse circumstances, a notion that adds a painful dimension to our experience.
If you’re considering staying at this hotel, I urge you to be cautious. While the amenities are commendable, the risk of poor handling of billing disputes is significant. It seems that once an issue arises, you may find yourself trapped in a cycle of unreturned calls and evasive responses, without a clear path to resolution.
It’s disheartening to say that the treatment we've experienced has left us feeling disrespected and undervalued. The good news is that I will persist in seeking resolution. My advice to future guests is to hope that your billing process goes smoothly, as the customer service recovery here leaves much to be desired.
In conclusion, while the Courtyard Toledo West may offer a comfortable stay with its renovated facilities, the experience surrounding billing issues has been profoundly disappointing and indicative of a broader lack of genuine customer care.

Easy to find. Clean and modern. Helpful available staff. Very comfortable.

Rude front desk manager who doesn’t know how to communicate, only makes excuses. The excuse was low staffing and that’s why it took 30 minutes for them to bring something to my room. Shower products were low or empty.

I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone especially my loved ones I have coming into town. Booked a room here and the first room we walked into smelled like cigarettes. They gave us a different room. Second room had poop on the toilet paper that was rolled back up. We also got the joy of being woke up by 6 a.m. with music blasting from the floor above. Currently working with booking about getting a refund because it was a mess since day one! ZERO stars!!
Nice hotel, clean rooms, breakfast kind of lacking. Was also double charged for breakfast, and had yo have that removed from my bill. A breakfast burrito shouldn't be almost $15. After being double charged, closer to $30.
Food & drinks: Overpriced for portion sizes. French toast sticks $12+ burritos overpriced as well. These should be sporting event prices
