A good friend of mine and I swung by after the Maumee Film Festival to end the evening. Its a good place to go to near uptown (especially if you don’t want to deal with the traffic/parking of uptown).
Ambiance reminded me of a bar near home, but this place was more delightful and spacious. They have a NICE pool table (free pool and Sundays and Mondays too!) The bartender who served us was good.
I ordered the Bourbon Pulled Pork (Under Doc Specialty). I was surprised to be honest, I didn’t expect the portion to be THIS big?! I had to use both hands- I used the fries to eat what dropped out. The sauce was better than the food truck we stopped at earlier in the day during intermission. If you haven’t eaten much during the day and want something to pair well with a beer, this would be it!

Typical dive bar. Food was great but ranking lower on the drinks. The Arnold Palmer and the water were both awful. The sprite was better at least drinkable.

Never disappointed!!!! Loved my spinach pie made in house!!! and our whole party loved every morsel of their food. Mikayla was o ton of fun and gave amazing service :)

It was a nice place to eat, the food is pretty decent. For the day that we went, we got a server that basically forgot about us. We were there for about an hour and a half; and we didn’t receive our food until an hour in. I understand being busy but, the place was fairly dead. There were people who got there after us; they were served, ate, got their checks and left; as we sat waiting to get waited on. Our server only asked what we wanted to order after a half an hour of waiting, checked in once while we were waiting for our food and as they were giving us our check. The other server from another table had to come to our table to drop off our appetizer and ask us if we were doing all right twice. I understand supporting and helping other colleagues to get to their tables, but it seems like they were doing it for them. I don’t know if they were new, forgot about us, or didn’t seem to care but, it was pretty frustrating. Other than specific servers you could get; all and all a good place to eat.

It’s potential has not been reached! Loud place, some insulation/sound boards would help that. Great musician that night! Stellar! Thank you! Servers were not attentive, although not running around briskly. Food was good but pretty routine; not different from other places with bar food, which is unfortunate. Clean. There is hope!
