I stopped in for the first time to give this place a go! I was disappointed the cupcake I got was a little stale, even though the flavors are still good. We go back to 4 stars though because the Vietnamese iced coffee was good enough to make up for the sad cupcake. I’ll probably try them again sometime!

I ordered a cake for my sons birthday and I was definitely impressed. The design of the cake was exactly was what I hoping for and once I tasted it! Oh my, 10/10. I feel like I should have ordered a larger one just for extra left overs for myself because there wasn't any after everyone had a slice, lol! I'll be buying custom cakes from them from here on out. We were just visiting Toledo and took a chance on this spot for a mid-morning pick-me-up. French press coffee was very good with cute service; the ham & cheese croissant may have been the best I’ve ever had; and my kids raved about the chocolate croissant and mini donuts! Friendly service and clean as well. Highly recommend. If you have kids, pop in here and take your goodies to the playground at the botanical garden - my kids say it’s the best playground ever!

I was excited to order a cake from dollop shop for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party due to all the great reviews, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with my experience.
I requested a 10” confetti cake with cake flavored Italian buttercream and an ice cream cone on top with sprinkles. I indicated that the theme was ice cream, and color palette was pinks and included inspiration pics and a pic of the invite for inspiration.
When I received the invoice, before signing I emailed back to specify that I wanted the sprinkles to be rainbow colored, not pastel as the first invoice indicated. Clare was very accommodating, updated the detail and sent a new invoice which I promptly paid.
When I received the cake I was disappointed to see that the ganache was peach colored, not pink as I had hoped. Additionally, the sprinkles were pastel, with barely any pink, and not at all rainbow like I had specified. The icing was almond flavored, not cake flavored as I had ordered. That said, the guests seemed to enjoy it, and though they also commented on the almond flavored icing.
I hate to complain, and I can appreciate that there’s some artistic wiggle room, but it’s just disappointing to pay $170 for a cake that was not what I requested.

She also is great at helping pick flavor combinations! The most recent was a cute pre-K graduation cake, I sent some pics including a signature and Clare and her team nailed it yet again!

I just ordered a cake for my best friend’s 40th birthday. The prompt for the cake was 80’s theme, bright colors, and dinosaurs. OMG!!!! I cannot say enough amazing things about the cake. First- decoration was ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I could have ever expected. Second- peanut butter frosting. You need to order it. Third- that homemade caramel! The cake has been a huge hit and we can’t stop talking about it.

Stopped by The Dollop Shop while visiting from out of town, and it was such a delightful find! The first thing that caught my eye was a sign outside advertising lavender scones—one of my absolute favorite flavors and pastries combined. Naturally, I had to try one, and it did not disappoint! Light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced without that soapy aftertaste some lavender treats can have. If you love lavender, this is a must-try.
I also picked up an Everything Bagel Danish, which was a fun and delicious surprise. The inside had the delicate, flaky layers of a croissant, while the topping gave it a crispy, savory finish. Such a unique twist on a classic flavor! There is even an option to have it warmed up!
Beyond the amazing pastries, the shop itself is absolutely adorable. The interior design is exactly my kind of aesthetic—cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. It’s the kind of place I’d love to have in my own town, perfect for grabbing a treat and getting some work done. Plus, there are plenty of outlets, making it a great spot for anyone looking for a charming workspace.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—delicious pastries and a beautiful space to enjoy them!

This place is amazing. I found out about them from our LOLO program. The owner Claire is adorable, amazing and like no other. Everyone I share there cheese cakes with say they are the best they have ever had. Not only do they make great cheese cakes but they also make amazing cupcakes and there cakes are definitely a step above the rest. If you have not been there you need to check them out
