Stopped before a concert for food and drinks. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and fast. Got to talk to the owner too he was very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town
My family and I made a trip from St. Clair Shores which is just north of Detroit. We came down for a Skillet concert. We were hungry and saw this place was right across the street from the venue. Glad we did! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly! The next time we make another trip to Toledo, we will definitely make a stop here! Thank you, Downtown Johnny’s for a great visit!
We didn’t recognize the bartender, must be someone new. We ordered a Manhattan and a Whiskey Sour. We think the Manhattan was the one that came with the cherry, but neither drink tasted right nor like any we’d had in the past. We switched to simpler drinks after that. Would have been nice if the Gin&Tonic came with a slice of lime. But, the Jack&Coke was without issues.
