El Tajin authentic Mexican food

I’ve come to El Tajin several times now over the last couple months and it’s great. Simple, delicious, Mexican food. I usually order the street tacos. Don’t be afraid to try the tongue! It’s my favorite! The meat is so tender and the fat melts in your mouth, can’t beat it. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for some quality food in the area.

This family run restaurant has that old school mom in pops feel the workers are all family for the most part.They treat you very respectable and very friendly.They have a special on thursdays for street tacos.Your choice of meat for $2.50 .... Everything is cooked to order. And the weight is never usually more than 10 minutes. They also have elote original. The actual corn on the COB, not some of these new guys that are using canned corn n a cup...ugghhhh no... Some things you just have to keep original. And this is one of them. I highly recommend visiting this location at Sylvania and Jackman on the Sylvania side next to Dollar General.

Some of the best authentic Mexican around. Everything I've had is great especially their quesabirria tacos( extra crispy) lol beans and rice always on point. Good service dine in or take out. Always fast. honestly dont know how this place isn't super busy.

Was trying another Taco shop and found this little place. Tried a little selection. Tacos, chimichanga, and taco salad. 3 different types of street tacos, was not disappointed with any of them. As a matter of fact wasn't disappointed at all. I came in close to closing time and still everything was really good. Haven't had that good of mexican since I was in living down south. So first visit was really good so I will be going back to try other things and see if it is that good all the time or hit and miss. So far I would recommend this place if you wanted to know what real southern mexican food should taste like 👍 By the way not a fast food place since they make everything on the spot like you should do.

I walked in placed an order at 4:33pm. For 2 fruit cups they told me 10 minutes. 10 minutes went by I was told they would bring it to my car 20 minutes later I walk in I was told it was going to be ready the worker runs to the back and starts making it.lady in the back on her phone with gloves on packaging chips.

food was not good! tasteless and messy! ordered grubhub and it came ice cold, the torta was a big blob of mess and the corn shell tacos had NO flavor, chicken or beef. waste of money, will never return here!
