Golden Lily Chinese Restaurant

I have eaten Golden Lily for over 40 years. Same quality, same taste. The owner, David, takes great pride in his dishes.
Its hard to name my favorite dishes, as I love their egg foo young, all the fried rice, chicken subgum, chinese fried shrimp and many others.
You will not be disappointed!

All of our food was excellent. Very friendly when seating, taking our order and leaving. Enjoyed the ambiance. Highly recommend.

I love Golden Lilly! It is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had and would never turn down the opportunity to stop by. The General Tso’s chicken is my absolute favorite!

It’s been the best Chinese food restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going since 1962. I always find myself comparing other Chinese restaurants to Golden Lily. Their egg rolls have a distinct flavor that no other restaurant can match. Same with the wonton soup. Egg foo young is excellent as is their fried rice. I always put in an extra order of stuff to take home. Delicious!! I do miss Donna but she most definitely deserved to retire!!

This is my favorite place in Toledo. Every time I am in town, I eat at Golden Lily. Sweet & Sour Shrimp every time. My Dad first took me to their downtown location when I was six years old. Tea pot and placemats exactly the same since :-) Food is worth the trip; authenticly nostalgic decor and ambiance add significant value. Make sure you come, sit down, and eat here sooner than later, as I'm unsure about the sustainability (there's never more than two tables filled every time I'm in town).

Ordered chicken lo mein to go I told them no onions and no mushroom and they still added mushroom. Trying to call and no one answers. I asked them for hot oil sauce the lady who’s the owner said it’s $2!! For a small cup of hot oil. Don’t even give you fricken plastic forks or spoons or napkins!!!! Horrible horrible service horrible !!!! I will not be back!!!!!

They have a diverse menu with items that aren't common in this area. Food is always delicious, staff are friendly and accommodating. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.

We got combination plates which were about $17/each and including an egg roll and won ton soup. He loved the Almond Boneless Chicken and I really enjoyed Szechuan Shrimp. The fried rice is excellent. Egg roll superb. Wonton soup was excellent. Our server was top notch from the moment we entered until we left. We arrived right at opening on a Sunday.

I liked the decor inside. The outside of the building could use some work. We are definitely going back.

I've been going here since I was a kid. They have the best wonton soup, egg rolls and ham fried rice I've ever had. The sweet and sour used to be excellent but lately tastes watered down. I still have never left disappointed.

Food was good but I don't think it would hurt to renovate the place it looks abandoned from the outside. Putting foil on your windows isn't exactly good for business

Table was sticky , soy bottle needed wiped down. The main dish order wasn't put in until after we got our appetizers. We won't go back.
