How exciting to see one of my favorite local restaurants in the list of the best in the Blade's Restaurants in today's issue. I've never been disappointed in the food and the staff is always welcoming and a joy to see. Really creative food and new specials every day. Congratulations.

Greg's is one of those great places, where everything is done right. Limited menu where everything on it is done right. Specials which are special not just stuff they want to get rid of, and a chef who knows how flavors work and isn't afraid to mix things up. If you don't have serious dietary restrictions, your best bet is to let Greg make you something with his fresh ingredients, otherwise go with your first choice on the menu, it's gonna be good. Gravy fries, ahi tuna, burger, huge salad, Reuben, bacon wrapped meatloaf, French dip, it's all great!

Great breakfast. The Patty Melt was delicious. Bathroom was clean. Handicap accessible. Busy on Friday. It's just north of Lagrange St. on river side. Seating for about 24 and takeout service. Handicap accessible and parking.

Located on Summit Street in the historic Vistula neighborhood, Greg's downtown location offers the same great food as his West Toledo location. The bottom line is that Greg serves up traditional American food created using the highest quality and freshest ingredients, with quite a few creative twists. The menu isn't humongous, but everything on the menu is great...seriously. Speaking of the menu, the latest incarnation has a few notable additions. My favorite new item is the meat lover's omelette. It's big. It should be noted that the sausage/ham/bacon/etc (as well as the veggies) are actually cooked into the eggs...cheese is added later. Some places cook the ingredients separately and then wrap them inside an "egg tortilla." I prefer Greg's method. The Cobb salad, and/or the burger, are still my primary lunchtime jams, but the Blackened Ahi sandwich is right up there too. Oh yeah, don't forget to have some cheesecake. It rocks. It's worth the carbs. Note that UNLIKE a lot of places downtown, Greg's Grill has its own parking lot, so parking is NOT a hassle. Take out or dine in, the service is great, and the prices are fair. Five stars!
