Beef tips and noodles with homemade green beans,was very good.could of used a couple pieces of bread and butter with all the gravy, very delicious.will go back there again.

First time eating there and let me tell you, I will never eat there again. The manager in charge is extremely lazy, the way she talks about employees is beyond me. This atmosphere is not somewhere to be with this manager. I will not be back there if she is still in charge.

Hammer's Grill ROCKS! I have never eaten inside, but I order takeout/delivery often, and Hammer's is by far the best when it comes to quality, portions, freshness, price, service, and everything else. It always looks like it would if I had made it myself (or better). My order has never been wrong, nor have I ever had anything missing. They give you the extras you need without having to ask, so don't worry if you forget to ask for jelly with the toast. You might find something you didn't even know you wanted. The takeout orders are packaged well, with care. And the food is SO much better than other home-town restaurants. I know there's more I can add that I'm forgetting. My only complaint is that they aren't open later in the day. Even though I don't usually eat earlier in the day, I will still be ordering from Hammer's, to eat later, often.
Asked the waitress about the biscuits and gravy, she was nice enough to bring me a sample. When I tested it it wasn't very warm and I told her I'd like to order that but I needed to be much hotter. When my food was brought out (another person's, as well) it was COLD. Like someone took it out of the fridge and served it, cold!!The waitress forgot more than half of our order and we only had 3 people! Orange juice was brought to my dad when we were getting ready to leave, not during breakfast and he never got the sausage patties he ordered.Food was good but they definitely need to focus on the temperature of the food when serving it.I also don't think the waitress should be eating or drinking at the counter then going outside, come back in smelling like a cigarette, not wash her hands and come bring me food. THAT was a food turn off for me!
Parking: The lot is small and you may have to park across the street. Not a good combination for a person with disabilities. (2 handicap spots)
