This spot is one of the best, if not the best, coffee shop in Toledo! Their self roasted beans are super delicious. And they know how to make a latte! The seasonal menu was super great to try. I got the maple cardamom latte and it was totally worth. You have to try Maddie and Bella's if you are in the area!

Ignore the weird conservative reviews. This place is great, no matter what some weirdo who can't handle being around other people says. (though if you're using AI for your artwork...do better!! There's plenty of artists around Toledo to support)

My coffee was great—staff was helpful. My drink was low sugar but tasted good/flavorful!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Maddie & Bellas for years but during a recent visit I was shocked to see employees wearing shirts with large graphic targets and the phrase ‘Gun Control Now’ boldly across the front. While I respect basic rights to personal expressions I don’t feel political messaging like that belongs in a customer-facing role especially after a major national event that was politically and religiously charged. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome first and foremost, and almost as if I might be confronted or treated differently because of my differing beliefs. It also left me questioning whether I would receive a quality product from these baristas who were openly comfortable creating such divide. I reached out to the company for clarification on if they knew this is what their employees were wearing or not but haven’t received a response in several days. I’d like to know if this reflects the business’s values so I can decide whether to continue spending my money there.

The coffee and food are fantastic, but it’s incredibly disappointing to see them using AI images. They seem to put in a lot of work to their beverages and food, but I don’t know anymore.

Out of all the coffee shops downtown, Maddie and Bella is my favorite! My go to drink is an americano which very easily ends up watery and not very flavorful. My americano from Maddie and Bella is perfect every time. Everyone in the shop is very nice.

I’m Toledo born and was visiting Toledo for a few weeks. I made it a point to go to Maddie and Bella’s because it’s the best coffee in Toledo. I am a big fan of freshly roasted beans and when I went in they had so many options that were roasted that week, a week before, or even just a couple days before. As a person who values high quality coffee, I have to say I love Maddie and Bella’s. I live in Italy now and I bought two bags of whole beans at Maddie and Bella’s, one Columbian and one the warehouse blend. I have to say with a fine grind and my moka it tastes like home. I’m really thankful for such a good specialty coffee shop in my city and I take pride in being your customer.

To anyone who’s ever thought about buying some beans, equipment, or even just a latte— do it. Maddie and Bella’s offers an experience you won’t forget. I certainly won’t!

Anyways, keep doing what you are doing. The customer service is always great, lattes are amazing, and beans are always delicious and fresh.

Super aesthetic spot, Minimalist decor, soft lighting, and calm music made it such a relaxing vibe. I had the iced matcha latte and a croissant, matcha was smooth, not too sweet. Perfect place to hang out with friends or take some cute photos. Staff was friendly and the whole place smelled like fresh coffee. Love it.

Wow! We are from out of town and have had mochas in many cities across the USA, including Seattle. The mochas at Maddie and Bellas were some of the best we have had. Great flavor with a personal touch. Mine had a pumpkin design in the foam. The wife took a drink so not sure what she had on hers, may have been a ghost. We would come back if we are in the area.

I was passing through town and found this place on an early Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly baristas, peaceful and spacious atmosphere, and good drinks. I’d recommend!

East street parking. Delicious avocado toast. Full flavor rich cinnamon toast iced latte. Lots of coffee shops in downtown and I am glad I selected this one.
