We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here, very nice restaurant and atmosphere. We ordered the salad with beef tips & salmon cakes which were both tasty. Though the blackened salmon cakes were lacking a bit in a flavor. Our waiter was wonderful and surprised us with the ice cream sundae after our meal, thank you very much, was definitely the cherry on top of our night!

Nice casual smaller Mancy's restaurant, great service, however my grilled chicken was hard, rubbery and I couldn't eat it. It was with lemon rice and green beans, those were good but the chicken was awful. They must have given me a bad piece? Not sure if I'll go back...

Great experience my first, but not last, visit here. Had the Cajun grilled shrimp and was just blown away, highly recommend this dish. Looking forward to next visit to try one of the other menu items. Exceptional waitstaff and service.

First of all, ask to be seated at a booth or table served by Micayla. I was completely impressed by this person - her positive attitude, reciting a rather lengthy list of specials from memory with little hesitation or pause. She was a very hard worker, efficient, and rarely stood in one spot. I didn't think that there was any comparison based on my observation and opinion of the others. I might be wrong...but I doubt it.My wife and I are not big appetizer eaters (generally these can run up the bill very quickly.) However, I did have the "Soup of the Day" which was this FANTASTIC Beef Barley soup. I wish that I had that recipe. My wife had the Lemon-Oregano Grilled Chicken Breast and there was no hesitation by Micayla to substitute a potato side for the orzo serving due to a dietary restriction. She really enjoyed this dish and there was plenty to bring home. I had a Perch dish that was one of the evening's specials. I spent 40 years in CA before returning home to Michigan. I had forgotten what Lake Perch tastes like - Ocean Perch is NOT comparable. AND OMG, this Perch was fantastic!!! Moist, yet flakey and battered with the lightest textured batter I have ever had. Needless to say, there were no leftovers on my part!We did not try the desserts, but I saw a few that looked at least interesting.OK - star "deduction" explanation:* Micayla had 3 booths (6 total) plus a party of approximately 12 to 15 in a private dining area to serve. And as I said, she did so with the efficiency first mentioned above. But the Manager on Duty (?) sat at the bar chatting with apparent friends. When your staff is hustling, help them out if you can.And as we had to go - we went up to the bar to pay (Micala was back with that private party.) No issue. WE understood how busy she was. And then her Manager on Duty (?) asked us if everything was ok with the service as I guess that we were supposed to add to her workload and wait. And then Mycayla did come over with apologies (as you get it reading here - completely unnecessary.) But I got the impression that this Manager was still not happy with her. A completely unnecessary attitude. Not a great finality to the end of what was otherwise a great dinner* I think that the Perch was about $32 - although Perch is hard to get these days, I felt that this dish was overpriced given the orzo rice and simple corn salsa that accompanied it. I think that the bill for the two of us (without drinks - water only) and dessert was $65 "ish." Additionally, Micayla deserved every penny of the tip that we left for her.We will go back. And I hope that Micayla is the server assigned to our booth.

The food was good, well proportioned and cooked perfectly. The flavors/seasonings were heavily on the salty side, but I think most food is too salty in general. I think the price was higher than the dishes called for, but sadly not unexpected for the restaurant family. It's a small place, and it was excessively loud, especially for a Wednesday early evening. Not bad overall, but I would seriously take earplugs if I ever went back.

Been here a couple times now. The appetizers, salads, sandwiches and deserts are excellent. Drinks are serviceable. Most of the entrées either were good or look good. EXCEPT the 11oz steak that I picked. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, but had zero seasoning of any kind. The potatoes were undercooked, the green beans were fine, but neither had any seasoning of any kind. never got the cole slaw realized later on. It was $38 and had nothing unique about it. At any other bar & grill I would have gotten exactly the same thing for $18 or less. I could have bought a 16oz steak, green beans and a potat, then made it myself but better for $14. I get wanting to cater to all but someone who likes plain food can ask for it plain. When I pay $30-$50 for an entee it sure as hell better be something I can't get anywhere or would take too much time to replicate. So I would give this place 5 stars but I just couldn't get past the New York Strip.

Visited on a Wednesday night, relatively slow, there was one large party but no one at the bar. Service was slow, but the wait staff was very kind. Food (for the price) was just okay. I ordered the summer salad with grilled chicken. The chicken breast arrived on top of my salad and was not sliced which did not make it very easy to eat. The chicken was very moist which again made it very difficult to cut into without the rest of my salad flying around the bowl. Also, the poppyseed dressing was clearly sitting for a while since all of the poppyseeds were at the bottom of the sauce cup. The greens were fresh but the portion of additional toppings were pretty small. Goat cheese was in scoops or chunks and did not look very appealing, perhaps fry the goat cheese first for a little crunch and improve the visual. This was my first visit. I will likely be back to try additional items.

Menu needs more variety and my burger was not very good and was not well done but biggest complaint is they can’t accept gift cards. There is a small note on the door, the hostess nor waitress advised us until we went to pay. Very poor communication. Won’t be back.
