I had TERRIBLE customer service at the pharmacy. Urgent care sent over 2 prescriptions for me. I called to see if both he medications were ready for pick up, my fiancé would be in to grab them. The lady on the phone was polite and told me yes both medications were ready. My fiancé came home with the prescriptions. One of them was an antibiotic and the other was one of my routine medications. I called the pharmacy back and no one answered. A waited a few minutes and called again, the person on the other end of the phone put me on hold first. I patiently waited. When she answered I asked if urgent care called in my 2nd antibiotic, since when I called earlier I was told BOTH medications from urgent care were ready. The woman told me that the 2nd was being filled now. I wasn't upset since we live close to Meijer. I asked if Urgent Care forgot to call it in at the same time or what time it was received. This lady told she didn't see why it mattered.....I explained how I had called in earlier and what I was told so I was just curious. She told me that I "didn't specifically ask what medications were filled" so basically it was my fault and she doesn't understand why I am questioning her. I asked her why she was arguing me when I was literally just asking her a question. She said "I'm busy. It'll be ready" it was close to closing time so I asked what time they closed and she hung up on me. My antibiotic wasn't filled until the next day. I work a demanding customer service job too and I get sometimes it can be overwhelming, but even as a previous pharmacy tech I could not imagine talking to a patient like this! I called the store manager and he took my contact information and I've never heard anything else. I will no longer be using this Meijer as a whole and will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I would NOT recommend using a pharmacy that can't maintain manners and professionalism even when they are busy.

only 1 checkout lane open. all the way backed up. 1 set of self checkouts and 1 broken. all backed up. people are spending more time in a line then they are shopping. and the self checkout is a joke. i don't work for you. hire people. open more checkout lanes.
