I had the shrimp and fresh cut fries. The shrimp was disgusting. They were soggy in the middle and tasted freezer burnt. They did offer a replacement. This is not usual for them. The food is normally made fresh. Everything else, except the buffalo sauce(VERY spicy buffalo), has been delicious. I've been going there for years. I love their lemon pepper chicken and their cheesecake.
The bakery items were incredible (wish I could show you a pic but I inhaled them unfortunately) the service was ok. I felt like I got treated differently from the person in front of me and behind me but it's whatever. Coming from a deli area the sandwich looked incredible but it was missing something, I can't tell you what it is but I just wanted something to push it over for me. I have been thinking of this bakery since I moved from Toledo. Now that I'm back, one of the first places I had to visit was Michael's, and it was just as delicious as I remembered 30 years ago. I can't get enough of their salads and breads ?
