First time.
There, it was wonderful. I will be back.
Having been a regular at the Reynolds location, I was eager to check out Miss Cue North. I arrived with friends looking for some food, drinks, and a casual hangout. The establishment is quite large, divided into two distinct sides. One side, brightly lit, evokes the feel of an old basement den, while the other boasts a more traditional pub-style pool hall with darker wood features and low lighting. Scattered throughout are games like darts and arcade machines. A central bar connects the two sides, offering ample seating. Both sides also feature tables, chairs, and wall seating. The place was clean, and the service was friendly and efficient.
The menu here focuses on basic bar snacks. I ordered the mini corn dogs and breaded mushrooms, which were clearly frozen rather than fresh. While adequately cooked, they were exactly what you'd expect from frozen appetizers. Pool table prices are reasonable, and there are weekly promotions, including free pool every Wednesday for those who purchase a t-shirt. The music is played through a jukebox, so it can get quite quiet if no one adds money. We decided to drop some coins in, and the music sounded great on one side but was barely audible on the other.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Perhaps I'm biased towards the Reynolds location, but I doubt I'd frequent this one on my own. However, I can definitely recommend Miss Cue North for larger groups or serious pool players.
Great place to get together with friends. Bartenders are very prompt and friendly. Great experience every time I go
