6pm on a Friday night and their dine in was closed at 3pm, no eat in, carry out only. Since that information is not listed on Google, now other people expecting to eat in after 3pm will be aware instead of having to adjust their plans at the door as we did.

Don’t get the sausage biscuits and gravy. But the eggs, toast, home fries, and coffee are all good. The service was very fast and polite. Great spot for a quick diner style breakfast.

Asked for cheese on my home fries and when I tell you it may be a shortage on cheese for this restaurant I absolutely mean that... There was cheese on one end of the homefries and even there seemed like the ass end of the bag.... The food wasn't seasoned at all which is ok because I can remedy that potatoes were hard (undercooked)... Foods just not good.... I will stick to rockets Cafe.... Oh the omelet wasn't good either.......

Best meal I've had in 10 years, 3weeks, and 2 days. I had the oatmeal. The staff and customers are super friendly. They never tried to steal my food or shank me. Also they're super busy so it's easy to dine and dash. Loving my first day out of prison. 8
Monroe Street Diner is a Toledo gem 💎 the service is always great gives you a family feeling and the Johnny Smash Burgers are the best thing on the menu fries were fresh and hot
