Service was great, food was pretty good as usual. The portions are getting a lot smaller. My son likes going there for his birthday so we go every year. I always get the tour of Italy. It used to fill the entire plate. Today. The chicken parmesan was very small and the serving of lasagna was also very small. Not impressed. Tasted great but not impressed with the quantity.
It was the typical OG. Thought we would try it again after staying away for awhile. The berry sangria was way too sweet and didn't even taste like wine. The first salad we were served was good, plenty of tomatoes, olives, cheese and pepperachini peppers and a good mix of green lettuce and head lettuce. The server offered to bring us a second salad after letting us know that the kitchen was behind. The second one was definitely not made as well. We ordered the classic trio....
Overall good experience at this Olive Garden. Hadn't been to one in a long time but the revamped menu made sense with solid Italian entree choices. Our waitress Jax was super great and very friendly. I had spaghetti and meat sauce which was good, sauce needed more meat I thought. I got sauteed shrimp on it as well and those were tasty. My wife got the Five Cheese Ziti al forno and that looked and tasted good. We both got the sausage potato soup which was a pleasant surprise....
