I thought this spot was closed. Their Facebook page hasn't been updated since about 2017 and I never really hear anybody talking about it anymore. This bar has been here probably as long as I've been in Toledo and that's over 15 years. When you walk in you see this beautiful bar made out of wood. I don't know who made it but it is gorgeous. They have a nice selection of alcohol for cocktails and Sutter Home type wine. Even a few craft beers for me. They have special events like jazz on Thursday for free with free appetizers and host comedy events on occasion. Only problem is you have to search it out. They don't do a great job of advertising. Now this place has a reputation of being a primarily black bar but I have seen folks of all ethnicities here and they are welcome. The bartenders are semi-friendly depending who you get. Prices are like you would expect being near downtown. AKA overpriced. But the bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is nice. Come check it out
