Went to this restaurant with my spouse outside of business to try it out, as I was considering using this restaurant to cater large lunches for the company I work for. I work in a field that has me often buying large amounts of food from restaurants every week on my companies budget, so whichever restaurant has the best food and service will be picked to cater our business lunches.The food was pretty good, however when my spouse went to pay, they were interrogated angerly by the older women at the counter for not tipping. It's disappointing. Even though the food was decent, the interaction gave my spouse so much anxiety that we will no longer be considering this business to book our company lunches.The acts of greed and disrespect over a small order unfortunately lost them hundreds to thousands of dollars per week from our company lunches. As it seems that this is not an isolated incident from reading the other reviews, it is evident that this business is in severe need of reevaluation before they are truly ready to serve the public. When they make the changes needed to operate an upstanding business, I will be ready to reconsider.A note to the owner: I would recommend starting by letting family rest and hiring better staff. You may be scared to take that step, but you will only benefit from this decision. I wish you the best of luck.

I've waited way to long to try this place and it was worth it.I had the braised pork and shrimp Hu Tieu . This soup is garnished with sliced onions, scallions, and cilantro with a side of fresh bean sprouts, sweet Thai basil, and chili soy sauce. Packs such a flavorful medley. I don't know how one can make a soup so rich yet light at the same time.i also had the Tempura Calamari which was plentiful and had nice crunch. Good but not the star of the show anyway.Pho Vietnam is another Toledo gem.You deserve a meal here and this locally-owned mom&pop business deserves your a chance grab your taste buds attention. Small dining room and limited dining hours get there early.

I've been searching for a place that serves good pho for a while now. What a wonderful experience! The Pho Dac Biet was well made and one of the best bowls of pho I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Thai tea was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and clean as well. Great customer service. The building is old and run down, but don't let that scare you away. The pho is amazing. The dining room is small and they sometimes run out of ingredients so get there early. There is also only one lady serving everyone so you may have to wait.

The food is good, highly salted, so be prepared. The older lady is old and tired but she does her best. English and American culture are foreign to her, so her manners seem to be a bit rude in this culture, but I don't think she does it on purpose. My food came in a timely manner. I got a soup to go, the plastic containers that they put the hot broth were very thin, and I became concerned that the plastic may contaminate my food.They do nickel and dime you a bit. I got charged for asking for three small pieces of quartered lime. My pho came with one small quartered piece. The prices are gone up, and I understand that by how much that was a little unclear until I got my receipt. I still would recommend this place. I just would appreciate some tweaking.

Order the #17 Pho with extra meat and noodles. Food came out very quick (I came in way after lunch around 2:30). Haven’t been here in 4 years, but brother is even better than I remember and best of all the places I’ve been to in Toledo. Dining room is very bare bones but you’re here for good eats, not atmosphere- although it is charming in its own way. Only downside was prices in menu weren’t accurate and I wasn’t told while ordering.
