Haven’t been to this place in 20+years but decided I had a teaser for a deep dish pizza and I don’t know why !

I ordered a 10” deep dish chicago style pizza which is not my usual go to. I like a really good New York style pizza which, you can’t beat at Fredi the pizza man in Melvindale, MI.

But, I was done at 1 1/2 pieces which was way too much to eat to begin with in this tiny behemoth of a pizza !

There’s definitely no lack of cheese which is apparent from the first slice you remove then mozzarella just runs out everywhere!
There’s definitely no lack of pepperoni either !

If I go back I think I’ll need to try other menu items

Katya, serviced me and did an excellent job. She also has a very sweet disposition. I’d definitely like her as my waitress again if I ever stop back

Had very good service there. Called in advance about some allergy questions. Brandon was very helpful. When I came in and ordered, Adrian was on point. I'm a former gm of another pizza joint. Respect

Very good deep dish pizza and super friendly staff only negative is you have to wait 45 minutes for the deep dish pizza, but they warn you about that once you order it, so it's not a big deal.

We went to eat, 3 people, they sent us to the hallway to wait 40 minutes because there were no empty tables, when we looked there were more than 6 empty tables available only in the first floor, they have 3, the one who served us didn't care... I will never return.

If you want a deep dish pizza.. pizza paplis is where to go.. but everything else is just basic pizza.. and their prices are pretty high for a basic pizza.. maybe your paying for the atmosphere.. I'm not sure.. but the pizza is ok.. nothing too crazy maybe they need deep dish pizza competition in Toledo to see where they really stand

Ate before a walleye game, took the leftover pizza with us. Our stomachs were knotting up waiting in line to get into the Huntington center. After the game got home and looked at the pizza closer after warming it up, pizza dough was undercooked. Needless to say we were upset, and won't be returning.

stopped for some pizza before a walleye game. ordered a dep dish. appreciated the waitress letting us know it would be about 45minutes. we were starving. the pizza came out barely warm in the middle. ok that happens. however the waitress didn't come back for at least 20 minutes. picked at it and saved samples of the raw dough. she finally cam.back and the manager comped 25% Off the pizza. what a joke. ingredients tasted great..just imagine if it was cooked properly.

Date Night Done Right at Pizza Papalis!
My husband and I decided to switch things up with a Tuesday date night, and this was our first time trying Pizza Papalis. We ordered the deep dish veggie pizza with mushrooms, spinach, banana peppers, green peppers, and green olives—loaded and delicious! We also got the cheesy bread with spinach and feta cheese that was pretty good. My husband had to get French fries and Surprisingly, they ended up being a favorite too—crispy, well-seasoned, and way better than we expected. I had an Amaretto Sour, which was smooth and refreshing, while my husband enjoyed the Italian Cherry Margarita.

Our waitress was very nice and checked on us often, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back, especially to take advantage of the half-off Tuesday pizza deal with the purchase of an appetizer.

We’re also excited to go back once the weather breaks so we can enjoy the breeze with the garage-style windows open—it looks like the perfect summer vibe! The only downside? Parking can be a bit of a challenge. But overall, great food, friendly service, and a perfect spot for a chill night out.

So I've been coming to the Greek town Pizza Papalis since I was a kid. Yesterday in Toledo was the worst. We drove over an hour to eat there. It was our anniversary and just wanted a good pizza. Very disappointed! Bread Stix were hard and overdone. I ended up eating a few cuz I was so hungry. The breaded ravioli we def frozen and heated up. Not good. We ordered a large Chicago style pizza half VIP and half meat lovers. It was so under cooked. Asked to speak to the manager waited 10 min for the server to say she said we can reheat your pizza. It takes over 45 min to get a pizza there. When we asked to speak with a manager. He came out and said they might be having a bad day and they could reheat it. I said no I want my money back when he wanted to make a new one. I didn't want to wait another hour for a pizza that might be under cooked again. I didn't think the manager was very nice. That being said we won't be back. Paying 45 dollars for an undercooked pizza is disgusting. Thanks for making our anniversary meal awful.
