Plate 21 is a great rainy-day spot. Cozy cafe feel, but with a lot more space and seating than you’d expect. Their coffee menu is legit, and the espresso was excellent; clean, strong, and well pulled.
The breakfast burrito lived up to the hype: big, flavorful, and came with chips, guacamole, and salsa. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Everything felt clean and well run. Only tiny improvement would be mixing the burrito fillings more evenly, but I’d still order it again. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

I stopped in the morning to pick up an orange mocha. I am always intrigued with mochas of different flavors. They have a few other coffee drinks that sound fun and tempting. My coffee was crafted beautifully. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic even at 7am. I wish I had more time to enjoy my beverage in their establishment, just the right mood for relaxing with a cup but had to leave for work.

I felt like a celebrity coming in, the whole staff was so nice, bubbly and waiting to help you. the music was lovely, I was checked on several times. It truly was an amazing experience. food was great, amazing vegan options. there was a book club going on and it was awesome to listen to. I was told by the barista of events coming soon and she invited me back. They even warmed my cookie!

I ate here with family three times during my recent visit to Toledo. I had no idea this restaurant existed in Toledo. It's my hometown so I'm always happy to discover restaurants I've never been to.
They have several vegan and vegetarian options. All of the dishes we tried were delicious. I tried the vegan breakfast burrito, vegan breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, and vegan chickpea salad sandwich. My family member tried the vegetarian breakfast burrito and said it was delicious as well.
I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
