I was looking for vegan options and this place is definitely 10/10. The first thing that I noticed was that the restaurant was full which is a good sign. The vegetarian fried rice was packed with flavor and had the right texture. When I come back, I will definitely return.

The food is the star of the show. The wontons or fabulous the egg roll was really really good and the entrees were all hot fresh and delicious. Service was lacking and it's kind of an old beat-up building but that's not going to get in the way of delicious food. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

This restaurant is not great for food allergies. They use the “water” that has had egg in it for steaming vegetables. I asked when we walked in if they could accommodate me(egg and dairy allergy)I was told the shrimp would be safe. So we were seated. Waited quite a while to be waited on. Then finally our order was taken. Quite a while later the waitress came back and said the water that is used to steam the vegetables would be the water they had eggs in. Well that’s not great! By that point we had been there for 45 minutes or more. At that polished gave us our Edemame. I had some shrimp. It tasted like frozen shrimp from the grocery store, my husbands meal wasn’t great either. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Tried QQ a second time a week later and left unimpressed with the two dishes we ordered. The chicken Pad Thai which was great the first visit was very bland on return and the Cashew with chicken was tasteless. Service was very good but the kitchen was off the mark.

Disappointed Vegan Experience Vegans, beware! This restaurant misrepresents itself as vegan-friendly. Even attempting to order something as simple as broccoli is not safe for vegans. The water used to blanch the broccoli is the same water used for meat, leading to significant cross-contamination. I struggled to find anything on the menu that would be suitable for strict vegans who need to avoid any contact with meat products. Furthermore, the serving sizes were disappointingly small. My mother ordered a meat and broccoli vegetable dish, and the portion of vegetables provided was quite stingy. The prices were also quite high for the meal received. Having traveled from Atlanta to visit family in Toledo, I expected better. In Atlanta, the serving size to price ratio is approximately 2 to 1 compared to what I experienced here. I was very disappointed, especially after reading reviews that claimed this place was vegan-friendly. FYI, MSG is contained in all their pre-made sauces! This is definitely not a safe dining option for vegans. Stay away, or you may find yourself having a frustrating experience!

I can’t say enough about how amazing QQ kitchen is. I’ve been coming to QQ for lunch over the last 6-7 years and have never had a bad experience. Brought the family for dinner today and was blown away. The highlights were the fries with curry sauce (Asian poutine… the curry sauce is highly addictive) the crispy beef and the hunan chicken.
The service was top notch. Emmie and Josh are doing their parents proud.
