Disappointed Vegan Experience
Vegans, beware! This restaurant misrepresents itself as vegan-friendly. Even attempting to order something as simple as broccoli is not safe for vegans. The water used to blanch the broccoli is the same water used for meat, leading to significant cross-contamination. I struggled to find anything on the menu that would be suitable for strict vegans who need to avoid any contact with meat products.
Furthermore, the serving sizes were disappointingly small. My mother ordered a meat and broccoli vegetable dish, and the portion of vegetables provided was quite stingy. The prices were also quite high for the meal received.
Having traveled from Atlanta to visit family in Toledo, I expected better. In Atlanta, the serving size to price ratio is approximately 2 to 1 compared to what I experienced here. I was very disappointed, especially after reading reviews that claimed this place was vegan-friendly. FYI, MSG is contained in all their pre-made sauces!
This is definitely not a safe dining option for vegans. Stay away, or you may find yourself having a frustrating experience!

Great strip mall Chinese food. I had the crab Rangoon and General chicken, both were excellent. Servers and front staff were all super friendly.

I can’t say enough about how amazing QQ kitchen is. I’ve been coming to QQ for lunch over the last 6-7 years and have never had a bad experience. Brought the family for dinner today and was blown away. The highlights were the fries with curry sauce (Asian poutine… the curry sauce is highly addictive) the crispy beef and the hunan chicken.

The service was top notch. Emmie and Josh are doing their parents proud.

QQ is without a doubt the best Chinese in Toledo, and some of the best I’ve ever had!!!

Hands down the best food in Toledo. I get QQ Kitchen 2-3 times a week. It never disappoints. I see why they have so many awards. Everyone that works there is so friendly. I will be a lifetime customer. Keep up the amazing work.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in the city

Absolutely fantastic food! I had the Singapore Noodles (no shrimp added beef), it was so incredibly flavorful with the perfect amount of spice.

So first time in today. I did enjoy the friendly and energetic atmosphere. It felt like a diner but for Asian food. The person who took my order was also really kind. However, for the price, this place is not worth it. Jing Chuan is just down the road and in my opinion FAR better. If you like this place, check them out. Some examples of the issues with my food are: mushy, overdone lo mein noodles with not much more than the taste of salt/sodium, dry, overcooked pieces of chicken with the breading falling off. It was clear that they use white meat chicken which I love but has to be done right. For food like this, a dark meat holds up better. So does a double fry and the addition of something like rice flour or corn starch for a crispier product. I'll say this much: if Jing Chuan didn't exist, I'd probably skip this place and just get my fill on more Amer-Asian style food. At least with that, I know what to expect.

Food is absolutely great! However when a person comes in for takeout and pays, then leaves a $3.60 tip on the computer screen, you would expect the person finalizing the transaction to say THANK YOU, or COME AGAIN! Well, you just shot yourself in the foot because there will never be another tip for a carry out order from me!

It has sadly gone downhill - the mini bao buns were tough on the outside and instead of char siu shredded pork on the inside they had a hard golfball size of seasoned ground meat. The summer roll shells were thick and hard similar to rubber and the stuffing was mostly rice noodles. The Pad Thai had barely no chicken - the noodles not much sauce and were served in the takeout container in a large clump - skimpy peanuts and cilantro also. The teriyaki beef was dry and overdone, again with just a smattering of veg. This was 7 pm on a Monday night - maybe they just wanted to go home but we won't be going back.
