In a world of unpredictability, this is a place where guests can consistently experience superior service, food and atmosphere. Chef Erica is engaging….fascinating; taking time out of her hectic schedule to interface with guests in an unhurried manner. Vicki is a marvelous hostess, effortlessly exuding professionalism and elegance. This place is everything a fine dining restaurant should be.

When we arrived, there was no one at the greeting desk. When she did show up, she seated us at a table where we sat for 15 or 20 minutes with waiters by walking by and no acknowledgment. Another table of six was seated long after we were waiting with no service, and waiters were jumping to their attention and meeting their needs immediately.

I went to find a waiter and he appeared confused When I asked for a drink. When the waitress came to our table sometime later, she commented she didn’t even know we were there. It’s a table clearly visible in the restaurant and there were multiple empty tables. Not like they were overloaded.

I never mind a wait for good food. But I do mind being walked by, ignored, and treated with general indifference about a part of the restaurant business that is just so fundamental.

Hard to even understand that happening.

I’ll take a pass.

Erica's thoughtful approach made the Victory Center launch party truly exceptional. Her inclusive options accommodated all dietary restrictions seamlessly, while her creative pairings elevated the entire experience. What really stood out was her generosity and genuine care. She went above and beyond to make this 2025 event extra special!

Props to the chef! I have been vegan for almost 8 years and the vegan Autumn Osso Bucco was hands down the best vegan, and non vegan, meal I've ever had. It was incredible! The textures and flavors were absolutely heavenly!!!! It's a meal I'll never forget.

While the Osso Bucco was the star of the evening for me, the appetizers and my husband's fish were also outstanding. The portions, prices, and service were all amazing. Our server Miranda was fantastic. She made sure my husband's birthday dinner ended with desserts he and I would both enjoy.

HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. We will definitely be back, and I hope the Osso Bucco stays on the menu!

I've wanted to try this restaurant for years, and we finally went. It was quite lovely inside, very open. We went early, so there weren't many people there yet. Our waitress Bella was very attentive and let us know the soup of the day. We got drinks, and then we ordered our appetizers. My husband opted for the scotch olives and when I tell you the man does not normally eat pork products but ate every single last one of those olives, it's the truth. Well, he did share one, and the chorizo wrapped around that olive was phenomenal. I chose the smoked walleye dip, and while I offered my husband more of the delicious popovers that came with it, he wouldn't keep eating them so that I could. I also loved the cucumbers that went with it, it paired beautifully with the smoky richness of the dip.
Then it was time for dinner. My husband chose the steak. When I say that is the best steak that either one of us has ever tasted in our lives, I'm not joking. I blinked and he had devoured it. I opted for the Steelhead trout, and I was not disappointed. The flavors on it were amazing, the farro was the perfect amount and complimented the sweet/salty of the fish, and the relish added a liveliness to each bite.
And now you're thinking, well that's the end of the story isn't it? Nope. I finished every last bite of my dinner and while I couldn't finish the walleye dip (they boxed it up for us) you best believe we ordered dessert. We couldn't decide which wonderful sounding desert to get, so my husband chose the desserts for two. This was honestly the best way to go. It gave us a delicious sampling of most every desert they had there and wow! The pumpkin ice cream with chunks of toasted marshmallow in it was phenomenal, the frangipane and pear tart I think I liked the best. It was so good. There was baked Mexican hot chocolate, and that had a hint of heat to it that was perfect. There was, I believe, an apple trifle and that was so light and airy! And there was a macaron that I think was whiskey and praline? I might be wrong, but it had a fabulous flavor.
I'm not sure when, but we will definitely be back. It's hard to get my husband to go anywhere different, but not this time. I'm pretty sure he'll be driving.

Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.

My husband picked this restaurant as ab anniversary surprise. He called ahead 3 days to inquire about a reservation at the window. He was very disappointed when we got there by 5:30 as he understood but to not get a window seat for us. Complimentary champagne was given which was a nice thought. We dont drink. There was a $15 compensation on the bill. It was a bit chilly and I did have a medium jacket over tank.

FOOD: the fork & knife salad soo good! The brussel sprouts with whipped feta delicious. Soo many flavor layers. My husband really enjoyed his venison pot pie and I the rack of lamb with jeweled rice. The bread & butter was very yummy. Bread comes from a baker in NY. All staff very nice. The pear tart was superb! As was the blackberry gellato. Soo much flavor in the blackberry gellato.

CLOTHING: we decided to dress up a bit but people came in street clothes. Staff looked nice even wearing jeans.

Would I return? Yes. If I wanted to take someone special visiting for a nice dinner, I would know I could here based on experience.

We went here with my parents for a family dinner, and even my picky father enjoyed it. I love that there's a seasonal menu, so we can go back and enjoy something new. We made reservations and we were seated by a window, which was nice, although the whole place had a great ambiance. My partner said the Dover Sole was the best fish he's ever had, and my father (who is usually a meat and potatoes guy) loved the Harissa Grilled Carrots and Meatloaf Burger. I loved the extensive wine list, and my risotto was amazing. We also met the chef as we were leaving, and she was so amazing! We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I had dinner here before a concert at the Toledo zoo. I had looked at the menu online but I didn't realize it was Barcelona night, so I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the regular menu online. (My mistake)
We decided to stay and give a try & I must say the tapas was some of the best creations I ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish wine and all the different small plates we ordered! So many wonderful flavors!! Hope there's a good show at the Zoo next year so we can eat at your fine establishment again!!
Thank you!

Unfortunately, this place really missed the mark. The food was not good at all, bland and disappointing, with portions that were way too small. Cocktails were mediocre, and the overall experience felt underwhelming. We booked it for a corporate dinner and honestly, I regret choosing this place. The service was just okay, nothing memorable. I wouldn’t come back and definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
