I've been eating here for years, and never had a bad meal. The food and service are excellent, and the atmosphere is quiet. I personally recommend the Tom Yum soup, the Pad Thai, and the Cashew Chicken.

A hidden gem in Toledo! I’ve lived here for years and never noticed it but was searching for great Thai food and popped in. Adorable atmosphere but the food is insanely flavorful and fresh, friendly and attentive staff, generous portions for reasonable prices. Honestly when the restaurant industry went significantly downhill post-covid, Rose Thai feels like the experience you used to get when going out. Highly recommend!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Toledo area! Consistently delicious food, and the staff are so welcoming and kind. The atmosphere inside is relaxing and quiet. Definitely a must-try if you love Thai food.

My first time at this place pepper steak and rice the beef taste so cheap and was so watery never had it that way before and the spring rolls was definitely not fresh they have the frozen kind the veggies in the inside was sooo mushy! My first time experience was awful I’m never going back!
This place fell off. Green curry, Tom kha gai soup, and pepper steak dishes had no flavor at all. They were just bland. I hope it was just an off night but dang for all three dishes to be bad? That's no good. Best of luck to you, I hope this turns around.

We moved love this place. Walked in 10 muns before close and waitress said no problem and let us eat. Food was amazing as always and the service was excellent. Chicken Pad Thai is amazing and the best we've found. Highly recommend

We celebrated my MIL's birthday at Rose Thai recently. Everyone ordered something different, and all really enjoyed their dish. Soups were great! Our server was delightful and attentive. We had a couple of special requests (no onions, no mushrooms), and everything came out, as ordered, hot, and delicious.

The Thai iced tea is on the sweeter side but it’s really good! We had green Thai curry and drunken noodles, both were amazing! Totally worth the price.

Restaurantji Recommends
Waited and waited at the front desk to be seated on a very slow Thursday evening. Had a couple come in and say they usually walk up further to be seated... well, the sign was right there, and new diners aren't going to just assume they should move further into the restaurant. I was looking forward to trying this place out, but I guess I'll never know if it's good or not.

On previous occasions (we had visited “Rose Thai” several times in the past few years) we received good tasty food and service that was consistent with the recommendations we'd received from others and online. However, this time around, while the service was good, our food was not.
We each had a spring roll to begin with (serving consists of a single spring roll at $1.99). While they were suitably crisp and golden on the outside, the filling was mushy and not a pleasant flavor, as if it had been cooked from frozen.
The Pad Kee Mau with beef (dinner-sized portion) was extremely disappointing. It used the wrong kind of noodles--the narrower & smaller rice noodles, not the really thick & extra-wide kind that have a nice soft texture, and they were a little too firm, so they were swimming around in copious amounts of sauce that was very salty and tasted mostly of soy sauce. It's quite possible that other Thai restaurants also serve those regular noodles in this dish, but this is first of numerous times I've ordered Pad Kee Mau across the country where they didn't use the extra large/wide noodles.
My wife's food (a dish containing chicken with nuts) was also dominated by a 'soy' flavor, and too much salt.
I hope this was a one-time anomaly (a stand-in chef for the holiday period?), but we won't be taking the chance again, I'm afraid.
The service was good, and the ambience/atmosphere, and cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms were also good. I particularly like having the menu visible through the glass table top, and the nice tablecloths and goblet water glasses are a nice touch.

The whole experience started out pretty rough as nobody knew whose section we were sitting in. For about 15 minutes absolutely nothing no water no greetings until I went up to the takeout counter and inform them that we had been sitting there at which time the look on their face told me they had absolutely no clue that no one has taken care of us. After that it got better. The food was phenomenal very fresh, hot, with a great unique taste. Hope to try it in the new future when I'm craving Thai food again.
