HORRIBLE Customer Service!! Gave Incomplete order and when I went back, they had the doors locked at 7:02. Cars the parking lot and the order sitting on the counter and they refused to come to the door!!!!

1st visit to this Ruby's The lady taking the orders was extremely polite and informative. Unfortunately the majority of the items that we wanted to order weren't available. No greens ,no orkra ,no ribs, no coleslaw,no onion rings,no sandwiches etc We settled on the catfish dinner and also the 6 piece shrimp dinner. Don't order the fried corn ??. The French fries were barely cooked and soggy I can't recommend this spot for new customers

Food is made fresh to order but it is definitely worth the wait. We opted to dine in; multiple staff/owners made sure we had been taken care of given there's no dedicated waitstaff or bussing. Catfish was perfect. Meal for two (1 entree + 2 sides each) was around $25.

Food was terrible, service was worse. Boxed mashed potatoes. Beef and gravy tasted like it was from a can. Took 1hr 15 min to get food.

I ordered from here on Sunday and I was very disappointed. I placed my order at 5:46pm and was told my pickup time would be 6:35. I got there to pick my order up at 6:45 only to be told that there would be a 15 minute wait because they had to drop the chicken. I didn't get my order until 7:35. The shrimp were very soggy and the black eyed peas were too salty and the yams were too oily. I was very disappointed with the entire meal. Please do better and please teach the cashier some etiquette. I worked in Food Service for over 20 years and it is never okay to bash your co workers.

Catfish and wings were super good. Sides were not. Not seasoned at all and very greasy. Ordered corn bread and got a cheap roll. They forgot my gravy.

This place is very confusing. You don't know if you sit down to eat there or stand in line to order to go food... Then you wait 30+ minutes to be shoved a bag of food. Idk... they should rethink that approach. The food was good though.

Craving soul food and with limited options in the city, I came across Ruby’s Kitchen with a quick Google search. With online ordering down, I had to call twice to get through and order my food. I was told by the worker it would be a 45 minute wait, despite me ordering literally just dressing and macaroni. I figured with how busy it was, I’d give it 50 minutes. I walked into the humid, sticky building and was met by the worker at the cash register who was really nice. I told her my name, and she told me that there will still be a wait ?. 15 minutes passed, and at this point I ordered over an hour ago. I finally got my food and headed home! The dressing was good, but extremely runny. Macaroni was obviously from a box and a little bit of pepper was added. It’s not bad price wise, but for the wait, I expected better. I would come back, but I hate how a majority of the menu is only available Sunday.
