Whenever I visit Toledo, I have been a little sad that I could no longer have a chili dog from my favorite hot dog place since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 20 years ago . On Eclipse Monday the staff made it possible for me to enjoy Rudy’s once again by making two loaded chili dogs using my unopened package of Schars hot dog buns. I was in Heaven!!! Thank you Rudy’s for making my trip back to Toledo a wonderful trip down memory lane! ❤️❤️❤️

I've been going to Rudy's for as long as I can remember, and I've never been disappointed.My brother was in Germany all he wanted sent to him was Rudy's hot dogs they put some chilly in an ol mason jar mom dad and I spent 45$ (in 1990) to mail that and a king of hot dogs t shirt to him. Good people

While I am giving this review, I am sitting in the restaurant and I’ll tell you what this is the last time I’ll ever be at this location in and being disrespected this time I walk in the restaurant, and all of the staff starts staring at me and when I say hello about a few minutes later a couple walk in and it appears to be the owner gives them the biggest greet I’ve ever seen in a restaurant I’m not sure is it to spite me but definitely my last time here my previous occasions I was made fun of by the staff for ordering my fries a certain way that the old Rudy’s on Sylvania had on the menu and once I believe it back in October, I had food poisoning from Rudy’s on Alexis and I never brought it up to anybody. Bad service bad people it’s prejudice go to another Rudy’s to go to this one believe me.

I have eaten here for years. My last few visits weren’t the greatest but this was my final visit. Worse meal ever. My shake was runny like water. Burger was horrible. Fries were stale.

We ordered to go, 4 hot dogs, 2 bean soup.Opened bag, no spoons for soup or crackers, no napkins and hot dogs barely warm. Didn't go back, too far. Tried to call, no answer.☹️☹️

This is a restaurant popular in the area. Those of us that aren't born and raised here, this place is OK. The locals love it and love the coney sauce. They cook the food in front of you and they have an assembly line of food. It's an older gem, still has some character. I guess this is one of the places to try in Toledo! So try it
