Very warm in the dining area - not sure whether they have air conditioning. All the tables were dirty, it looked like no one had bussed or wiped them for hours. The hot dogs were tiny and boiled, no grilling.

One rude customer thought it was appropriate to name call and berate the hard working young employees at this Rudys during my visit today on 7/2/25. So, I just wanted to say that the young gentleman in charge there handled it with class as did the young ladies with him.
This location always gives great service and has great hot dogs :) The employees were friendly and speedy despite how busy they were.

This hot dog joint is one of the best ones in Toledo blows Tony Packo's out of the water food was awesome service was decent atmosphere was decent as well. Hopefully you can go get you some chili dogs and some jumbo wings

Rudy’s hot should be ashamed!!! I got two batches of onions and both of them were super burnt and dried out. I called to ask for a replacement order and the manager claimed they were busy and there was nothing they could do and then hung up on me……….

I recently visited the Monroe Street Rudy's Hot Dog location, my first time at this particular spot. My past experience with Rudy's wasn't stellar, so I approached with some hesitation. The atmosphere is your classic, no-frills diner – kind of old-school and cafeteria-style, where you order at the counter. The staff, however, were a definite highlight. Super friendly and efficient, they whipped up my order quickly. I went with the chili dog and onion rings. The onion rings were pretty standard – likely frozen – but they were cooked perfectly crispy. The real star of the show was the hot dog itself. Delicious! I especially loved the chili; it had a great flavor. Now, for the downside. The restaurant's cleanliness was questionable. It definitely looked like it could use a deep clean. I understand it's a hot dog joint, and some "greasy spoon" ambiance is to be expected, but this was a bit much. Overall, I'm torn. The food was a definite win – those hot dogs and that chili were excellent. The onion rings were just okay, and the cleanliness was a concern. The friendly and fast service was a big plus. If I go back, I'll probably opt for takeout. Those hot dogs are worth it, but maybe best enjoyed elsewhere.

Got a hotdog, fry and a drink through drive through. Waited over 15 minutes when I was only 2nd in line. They forgot my fry and gave me the wrong drink. At least the hot dog was okay…for 9 dollars though this is a place worth skipping.

Horrible window service. The guy at the window rushed us to place our order and messed the food order up didn't give us a chance to fix it because of being rushed and when we got home opened the food the hot dog buns were hard as a rock! I probably will never go back to this location again! They have to do better because the service there absolutely sucks! The manager I spoke with was very respectful and understanding definitely appreciated her and her time!
Slowest drive thru I've ever been in! I waited fifteen+ minutes for a milkshake with only two people in front of me!
