I come to the library with my mom due to us not having wifi at home at the moment and I think this place is the neatest. Weve been in a bit of a rough patch with little money so the fact that they have this for anyone in a similar situation is so cool. If you're an adult you can eat for free, as long as you volunteer afterwards and if you are a teen/kid you can eat for free with out having to do any work. The food here feels fancy, and it's very good. Especially the pizzas and salads. Everyone is also very nice.
Also what ever those one cookies that have the frosting on them are sooooo good I could eat a whole barrel of them. They're perfect.
Kid-friendliness: They allow kids and teens to eat free, and they don't have to work for it.

There is this young woman that works for the cafe that specifically is intentionally disrespectful to people who come in to be in the cafe area. She talks about rules and regulations and people having to sign full disclosures jus to cross a medal thing to store book bags in lockers avail to the community. She intentionally makes people over donate for the cafe one last it has to be $3 the next person in line have her.11¢ volunteering time to give back I service and then harassed for money after wiping down tables to give back to the community from the old lady with grey hair over it. It harassing and extremely uncomfortable to be in a position to volunteer and be disrespected by these two woman habitually. she explain people are all the same etc and they are NOT She is horrible in hospiitality and service today fo the community as an outreach program designed with people who need it in mind. It's rude and distasteful over a storage closet. I don't need to understand her personal mentality but better judgement should be met at the door and the biast opinion she be left at the door I feel she used her race card today.

I had the pleasure of dining in at SAME Cafe' for lunch today. The food, atmosphere and the staff, at this establishment, were outstanding! I felt so welcomed and warm when speaking to the crew. The unique mixtures of food, was very very tasty & inviting. I completely finished the entire meal, not wanting to waste a bite. So proud of the team, bringing their own specialties to the feast. I definitely will be returning for more.....

A spectacular resource for the community. It's always clean & welcoming, and in the center of our beautiful downtown library. I love that you can choose the cost for your meal which allows financial accommodation, or work for your meal if needed.
