Easily spent 80 dollars here food was great and tipped for take out

The most delicious place for delicious food and a great place is great and an excellent price I love this restaurant if you have a group of people low price and excellent food .

The fish and shrimp tacos are nothing like the ones that are posted online. The shells were stale and there's hardly any meat on them. And apparently they don't make them exactly like what the menu describes. They automatically add a 15% gratuity to their carryout orders and won't refund it even if they messed up your order.

Food looks nothing like the picture although 60% of the time the food was absolutely delicious but there is zero consistency and zero hospitality. Bunch of people who are just looking to make money heavily salted seafood

Its was ok. Some things are good and some things just plainly are horrible. The fried green tomatoes are delish!!! The green beans are too salty and probably canned. The Hushpuppies are good but DO NOT GET THE MAC AND CHEESE! It is literally macaroni noodles with nacho cheese on top, it's a stretch to even call it mac and cheese. They need to expand and completely revamp their side dishes-- besides the hushpuppies and fries.

Prices are good and the food is good. You won't be disappointed.

Not a big seafood guy but once in awhile I want fried perch only place I’ll get it from. Really good pretty cheap love my fish crispy it’s always perfect at sams. People are friendly place could be cleaner.

The service was slow and the odd thing about that is there was only two other couples in the restaurant at the time. The really bad thing is that they don’t know one type of fish from another. They gave us catfish for perch, and when I tried to explain this to the waitress, she was defensive about the order and she thought that the order was correct. Real fishermen know their fish. These workers need to be trained to differentiate the various types of fish. There’s nothing worse than not getting what you paid for. I could tell that the waitress thought that she was right, so I just accepted the order. Bad experience. Won’t be back.

I have never gotten so much food for this price. This fish and shrimp is effing amazing. Huge portions and absolutely delicious. I will 100% be back for more.

Really friendly server, Tabby. Nothing is small here! I ordered a three piece chicken tender and got 5 because according to Tabby, Sam likes to give you more! Tried the red beans and rice, which was OUTSTANDING. But the green beans were very bland - no seasoning whatsoever. If that changes, will give 5 stars.
