Souk Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar

Souk is truly a gem in our community. The ambiance and food quality are second to none. We’ve enjoyed fish, Lebanese dishes, pizza, and desserts on multiple occasions, and each experience has been excellent. We highly recommend it!

I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars, but the service was slow and inattentive. Food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates, roasted tomato hummus, wedge salad, Mediterranean chicken, margarita flatbread, mussels, and butternut squash ravioli(recommended by everyone).
It was also my birthday which we also noted in the reservation system and nothing was acknowledged the entire night. If you’re going to ask about special occasions, do something for them.
The mussels broth was delicious but they didn’t give me a spoon to eat nor a bowl for my shells. I feel like that’s 101. Also the ravioli eats so sweet, we barely ate any of it and the server didn’t even acknowledge it. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, but be prepared for a lonnng meal.

Not at all what my family and I expected. Our waitress Cassandra was not the greatest. I ordered a glass of wine and she brought me Champaign. After I took a sip of the Champaign and noticed that it wasn't what I ordered Cassandra realized she had brought me the wrong drink, but before hand my daughter who is 22 years old asked if she could just finish it since I had drank out of it already, the waitress Cassandra said no and took it back inside. My daughter who's also been a waitress before was like no way she just did that. Lol! The food that we ordered was very bland and over cooked. They burnt my 7 year olds cheeseburger to the point where it was crunchy, my son's octopus was over cooked, my husband's scallops didn't have a taste and they were not hot temperature wise, my pasta was bland and the service was horrible. If I could give this rating a zero I would. And the waitress had the nerve to tell us that the restaurant had just won the best tasting food and service in the downtown area of Toledo. She totally lied about it. My family and I was not impressed. It was not worth the hype nor the money we spent. The food is over priced and not what we thought it would be.

I really enjoyed everything about this place the food, the drinks, the service - everything was perfect! I had the salmon, which was beautifully presented and delicious. But what really surprised me was the hummus and lamb. I normally don’t eat lamb, but I genuinely enjoyed it here. Highly recommend, this place exceeded my expectations!

Our service started out good at first but then turned terrible when it felt like we were forgotten about. We had also mentioned it was our first time there to our server. Our server did not come back for about a half hour or more after our appetizer order was placed and even after she came back to check on her appetizers once it came she quickly left before we could put our order in. Some of the food items were very good as we tried various appetizers. However, I ordered the kafta medium rare and it was completely raw in the middle. Our server rarely came back. We never got an extra drink because she would leave before we could even attempt to order anything. I think she had a section outside and we may be the only table inside but either way we felt neglected. We were there for very long time, longer than we wanted to be as we had somewhere else to be the.
