Souk Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar

Awesome restaurant. The croissant French toast was unbelievable, according to my wife's, along with the fried artichoke hearts. I had the Roasted Waygu bone marrow appetizer and the Tunisian Power bowl with lamb and Harrissa. Frigging great!! I can't wait to go hack.

Very nice upscale place with a chill vibe. I came here specifically for the Cioppino and it did not disappoint! Casandra took very good care of me and I will be back!

Nice location, staff and very cozy, however I felt the food was lacking.
I make it a thing to order the Cacio E Pepe at every place I go to and this was by a wide margin the worst one I’ve had - a minuscule bowl of pasta with no cheese - it was like eating spaghetti straight from a strainer.

My husband and I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and sat on the patio. Busy but no wait. Server was attentive and food was delicious! I got a fresh tasting chicken/feta/spinach/tomato wrap and we shared a Spicy Feta with pita chips appetizer. So good! 10/10

Date Night Delight at Souk Mediterranean!

My husband and I had an amazing date night at Souk Mediterranean! We didn’t have reservations, but were pleasantly surprised to find a couple of high-top tables available at the bar and were seated right away.

Our server, Francesca, was absolutely wonderful, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the wine list. She helped us choose a delicious bottle that paired perfectly with our meal.

Since it was our first time and there numerous choices of hummus flavors, we took Francesca’s recommendation and started with the smoked paprika butter hummus—it was FABULOUS! For our main course, we shared the spicy Italian pizza, which was packed with flavor and very filling.

Despite how busy the restaurant was, the service and food were truly 5-star. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t wait to try the mushroom risotto and butternut ravioli, which looked incredible.

We highly recommend Souk!

TLDR: There is no other place like this in Toledo. If you like lamb, reserve a table NOW

Ate here a few times both lunch and dinner over past 2 years. The lamb shank is still my favorite. And if you get there at lunch, there is a smaller dish with lamb that tastes similar. Beef medallions, octopus, everything is heavenly, melts in your mouth and it's 100% worth the price. If you never liked spinach, you will learn to love it. If you think rice is meh, I dare you try it here, black spicy rice with tomatoes. And those fried artichokes, OMG, they are beyond any imagination.

The music is still loud, so get a table in the back or on the patio if you want to hear your party, but you will lose the intimate atmosphere that you get in the booths in the front, maybe it's the yellow light that I like. I so wish they cut down the volume a bit.

Servers are very very attentive.
I tried taking pictures but you don't need pictures. Anything you get from their menu will look and taste perfect.

You won't regret it. Try this place!

So tasty, and they accommodated me at a busy time when there was typically a wait. They were extremely attentive to my vegan/gluten free diet, and the ambiance was great.

We had such a great server she was bubbly and smiley and really seemed to be enjoying her job. The food was very good. The space feels very tight when the restaurant is full.

I loved everything about Souk. A group of us had dinner here a couple of weeks ago for one of our birthdays. Another in the group is a part of the Toledo restaurant scene and suggested it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. I will for sure keep this on my list next time I'm in town.

Kid-friendliness: I would say this restaurant is geared toward adults or older children but I don't think they exclude children in any way.

Great food & drinks, ambience, and service. Can’t wait to try more!

Came here to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. Didn't realize we should have made reservations (the place was packed!), but we were able to get a seat at the bar. This turned out to be an excellent choice as the staff and atmosphere were both top notch. All of our food was incredible. The Turkish Lamb was hands down the best lamb I've ever had. Everything seemed to be made with care and pride, and it honestly blew us away.

You will not be disappointed in this place, I can promise you. We WILL be back. I wish I could give my compliments to the chef, because he and his staff made our night amazing.

My wife and I love this place. The staff is friendly and provide a family like atmosphere where you feel welcome. The drinks are top shelf and the food is unique and flavorful. We love going for brunch on the weekends just before we hit up the Farmers Market next door. Love this place, thank you!
