My wife had been dying to try Fufu for well over a year. We finally stumbled across this place. We arrived shortly after they opened, so the wait was quite long for food since they were just beginning to cook. They made sure to inform us right as we walked in, about this. I think we waited a little over an hour total after ordering, but part of that was my meal was listed as made to order. I would suggest they start soups and stew recipes at least half an hour before opening, in order to have things closer to ready. That being said, if this was marketed as a fine dining establishment the wait would be perfectly acceptable.
I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, along with steamed cabbage. It was absolutely delicious. Great spice level, both savory and spicy. Possibly better overall than when we visited Ocho Rios on our honeymoon. The side of cabbage was a smart choice to temper the slight heat. My wife thought it was too much heat. She had the Egusi and Fufu. I can say that I've tried it and that Fufu is not my thing, mostly due to texture, not taste. However, the Egusi was very good. Our son had I think the vegetable stew, which he said was also spicy. I tried it, having a much higher spice tolerance, and thought it could be seen that way, but it was very likely intentional or traditional as prepared. Our daughter had the mac and cheese, which she said was good. Overall, not my first or second choice for dinner, but we will absolutely go back (later on in the night), but order ahead for pickup.
The staff were extremely hospitable and kind throughout our order process and wait. They offered suggestions, both considering wait times and tastes.

The food was amazing, fresh, and worth the wait for sure. We had the jerk chicken and Egusi and fufu. Didn’t get a pic of the jerk chicken cuz we ate it immediately

What can I say I'm in love! The taste of the food is beyond words. The portion was perfect for the price. I couldn't eat it all.

Definitely a must-try! Friendly service, and amazing food. There's still hints of the previous tenant's decorations left over, but in the end flavor is what's most important. Everyone's friendly, and they'll let you know up front if there's a bit of a wait for certain dishes or if anything's unavailable. I ordered the Egusi & Fufu, and left with a VERY full stomach.

Best authentic Afro/Caribbean food in Ohio. The food is freshly made and you can tell they put their hearts into their cooking. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend them!
Food was alright . Too pricy for the portions . And I can't tell if that was jollof rice or rice mixed with some random spice.

I gave this restaurant 5 stars on everything I got the fufu and eggusi and it was amazing they had good service they were already at the counter when I had walked in and the wait was less than 15 mins would go again!!!

I thought the food and the presentation was very good however I ordered the Red Snapper but they gave me Tilapia which is a huge difference in taste, quality, and price. When you got your mouth ready for Red Snapper, Tilapia will not do. I will continue to support this business. I just would like to taste how you guys prepare the Red Snapper.
