My husband & I drove 2 hours from near chagrin Falls, Ohio to try something different. I checked out restaurants within a couple hours from our house and the chophouse looked so beautiful had wonderful reviews & a lovely menu
Rob was our Sever & he was fantastic!! He answered my many different questions about items on the menu. He explained things very clearly and had a wonderful fun sense of humor and New just want to come back & check on us
We had 2 drinks which were really nice
I had a nonalcoholic strawberry fizz, and my husband had a Bloody Mary Which he gets a lot of places, but said this one was really really good
The popover rolls are to die for, but I only had half because I knew I would fill up lol
For an appetizer, we had the shrimp & lobster bites, which were so delicious & very creative. I love restaurants that have different items than all the usual suspects lol my husband’s entree was the lamb chops and he added a lobster tail I had the crab and lobster crabcakes as a side we shared the au gratin potatoes & for dessert We had the bananas foster crème brûlée, which was next level ( My husband did not care for the salsa Verde that came with the lamb chops and the Gratin potatoes were just ok .. The garlic mashed chive potatoes sounded fantastic) The atmosphere is beautiful & the piano player was a lovely touch. We will definitely come back and try some of the other wonderful items they have on the menu

I enjoyed my time here for our early Mother’s Day dinner. Everything was delicious. Their drinks were really good as well. We had the strawberry lemon drop and raspberry martini. Our waitress was terrific.

The food here is absolutely to die for. Omg my mouth is watering now BUT my first and only time going I ordered out because my partner hurt his leg and couldn't walk well and they messed my order up and I got charged for their mess up. I didn't realize it because the bag was stapled shut when I got there and when I got home I realized that my bill was $280 because they gave me stuff I didn't order and I didn't want to act like a brokiee asking why so much and for what 🤣 it did get ate and it was amazing. I have service 3 start for the order mistake but they could redeem themselves and get a 5 star next time.

First time visiting while on business in Toledo with some colleagues. Nice atmosphere with ok food for a high-end steakhouse. The service was subpar possibly due to having an inexperienced waiter. The service was slow and sporadic. I attribute that to lack of training vs. the waiter himself because he was pleasant and a nice guy.

Had an opportunity to finally try the Chop House on Toledo. Upon entering the hostess was smiling and welcomed us into the experience being @ Toledo Chop House. Was escorted to our table with the aound of live music as the pianist was in the house. Lovely view at dusk added to the ambience. Liz our main wait staff welcomed us with a smile and warmth, of which we felt thru the whole evening. A little house wine and starters of Brazilian cheese bread. Shrimp cocktail started the night off. Followed by Onion Soup Au Gratin. with a warmed pear salad. Hard act to follow as the salad was superb. not to be outdone by Lump Blue Crab & Lobster Cakes. This is the best we have tried.. Another dish, filet and lobster with a spectacular presentation, accompanied with Baked potato and toppings. Dessert is always chocolate and the mousse cake did just that. Topped off a perfect dinner. Again Liz kept in step with us not rushing but ensuring all of our needs were met in our time frame. She is on point. and added to our experience. Appreciate Liz took the time to go thru and make recommendations , made us feel she valued our business. We did linger and was not rushed. Will recomend to any in the area of Toledo. this is a showcase restaurant along with wonderful staff that can help you for any celebratory event.

I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and before I purposed to her after dinner. The only good thing about this was the lobster bisque which was phenomenal. The service was terrible, the bread was not cooked, the steaks were dry, the Mac and cheese was clumpy, and the dessert truffle was so hard we could not break it apart to eat it. My steak was a $99 waygu ribeye with fat and cartilage I could not chew through, and had to pull out of my mouth and put back on the plate. All things were mentioned to the wait staff and they just shrugged it off and said nothing. We also both became sick that night to the next morning. For the price I would never recommend this place. We have had much better streaks at a quarter of the price at many other places.
