This venue has serious potential. But the potential falls flat in terms of outdated sound systems and DJs with low skill sets. I understand everyone is learning as the event I attended was about finding new talent, however a skilled DJ should have been present to assist with the sound which ruined all the performances.
Regarding the venue, there is plenty of standing room and there is a kitchen here as well. The food was extremely high priced ($20 for 4 wings and fries!) so I passed on eating here. I'm not sure about drink pricing from the bar. I was charged $2 for a water bottle though and refused tap water.
The establishment itself is rather ran down and curtains were hiding other rooms which appeared to be vacant and full of party supplies, cardboard and other misplaced items. I'm not sure if this space is used during daylight hours or during different events.
As I said before this place has potential and the event which I attended could have been soooo much better if the sound and DJ were up to par. I love that the space felt safe and the overall vibe from the crowd was amazing. A simple investment in better equipment and some dj lessons could take this place from rags to riches 🤑🤑
