Delicious! I loved my salad!! I miss the days of "salad bars"...and this fits in the bill!! Plus it's fresh and organic! The chocolate chip peanut butter protein balls were the perfect amount of sweet treat too. I've tried several flavors of their gelatos too...loved them all! Flavorful and creamy!

Really great prices for delicious healthy food options! Super welcoming staff as well as a great environment. They have a whole back room for people to fine in or even for students to study. Everyone was really friendly and honestly I can’t say enough great things about this place except that I wish I would’ve discovered it sooner! So delicious! Highly recommend!!

I can’t express how amazing this place is. Great food. Great staff. Very welcoming vibes. Environmentally friendly. The owners are listening to customers’ suggestions and are adding things here and there. I can’t stop talking about this place. Healthy and delicious choices for a great price. Everything is fresh and made to order with the exception of a few items (granola bites, overnight oats, items of the like). Highly recommend to everyone.

Enjoyed a very delicious smoothie with REAL FRUIT!! Early hours for those wanting to get a smoothie and salad before work! Located in The Oliver House on the river side next to Rockwell's.

Fabulous food and a very friendly atmosphere! The owner was exceptionally personable! The food and juice was very filling. It’s wonderful to have a place to go where you know it has healthy ingredients!

We first visited in 2018. We loved the ambiance and the food was nothing short of amazing, and our waitress was wonderful! We revisited in late summer 2019 and found everything to be the same. Now in February 2020 it's sad to know The Cafe is closed and plans are not to reopen; this information was not publicized on their website. We went upstairs to the Maumee Brewing Co. where we found the menu from The Cafe was being used and that our favorite waitress was still working, but was clearly not the same person we'd seen during our last visit. While the food is still fabulous, it was sad to learn that along with The Cafe there had been other eateries in the building that had closed and would not be reopening. It boggles the mind why anyone would make these kinds of decisions, but certainly they must have been driven by the all mighty dollar.

The place was closed? I'm not sure if it was a vacation or if it is closed permanently. But we went there for my birthday and it most certainly was not open. :(

We ate lunch at The Cafe before attending a show at Huntington Center. Our meals were delicious, Melissa did a nice job serving us and we were off to our show in time. The kielbasa and cabbage soup was particularly good. Cozy place with rustic features. It's in the old Oliver House.

We came here before for breakfast, and loved it so much they came back next day. It is a diligently restored piece of Toledo history, and the city does need more places like that. When we came here for a lunch after church on Sunday, it took us a while to find bustling restaurant upstairs with nice cooked dishes like salmon. Strangely there is a luck of directions, so keep looking and calling their phone even if you feel little lost in the empty lobby.

I really wanted to love this venue but the service was awful and I do mean awful but the food was good! There is no way you’re going to find this place from the road or Google they really do need a sign

Took my parents to have lunch in this great cafe, part of the Oliver Building complex which is best known for the Maumee Bay Brewing Co. The food was great sandwiches and quiche. Dad thought the quiche was too "soft" (undercooked) in the middle, but my brother and I loved our Ruben sandwiches which features chunks of corn beef instead of the usual shredded. The service was prompt and friendly. Good value for a nice lunch out with the 'rents.

I really recommend The Cafe. The menu has really good options for everyone (including a meatless burger option)! Our waitress, Erin, did an amazing job at breaking down the different options and helping us pick what to eat. Erin even went through every pastry in the case so we knew what it was (and told me what to avoid with a nut allergy!). Highly recommend the grilled cheese and I’ve had lunch there so now I’m looking forward to going and trying the breakfast options
