Tougen is my favorite restaurant in the Toledo area. It’s the best ramen we have ever had, and the sushi is incredible. The staff are wonderful and kind. I cannot recommend it enough.

Authentic Japanese cuisine! Comparative to koto buki in terms of taste of the sushi, but more fair of price in my opinion. Our server was very nice, attentive and polite. The dining space could use an upgrade as the inside looks a bit dated style wise in my opinion. Fully enjoyed our date night here!

The service was a little slow, and at first, we were the only table. My water was not refilled during our time there and I had received my Kani salad after everyone else had their appetizer and meal. The timing was a little strange.
The atmosphere did throw me off a little when I walked in. The place was rated well, and the food pictures looked great, but I was not expecting a hole in the wall cafe vibe.
